You Got There

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Marcia Kuntz
Marcia Kuntz

The player in the hijack limped in and Marcia Kuntz raised to 1,300 out of the small blind. It was folded back to the limper who made the call.

The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Kuntz led out for 1,500. Her opponent quickly put out the chips to make the call. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and this time Kuntz bet 2,000 and was again called.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Kuntz tapped the table twice in frustration indicating a check. That was met with a rather quick bet of 4,200 from her foe. Kuntz muttered "you got there" and slid her cards to the dealer. Kuntz is coming off a deep run in the World Series of Poker Main Event where she finished 91st cashing for an impressive $61,313.

Bolek's Aces Cracked

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Chris Bolek
Chris Bolek

We got to the table with 2,800 already in the pot and a flop of {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} in the middle of the table. Chris Bolek checked to his opponent who put out a bet of 1,100. Bolek check-raised to 3,000 and was called.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and Bolek checked. His opponent threw out a single T5,000 chips and Bolek lifted his head to see how many chips his opponent had behind. After doing so, Bolek grabbed a stack of chips and put them into the middle, effectively setting his opponent all in.

"Did you hit the gutshot?" his opponent asked before announcing a call. Bolek had {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} but had fallen behind on the flop as his opponent had flopped a set of eights with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The river bricked out and Bolek had to send a total of 14,125 to his opponent leaving him with 28,000 behind.

A Set Not Enough For Auville

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
John Auville

We didn't catch the action but heard a commotion coming from one table and went to check it out. The board showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and sitting in front of John Auville was {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} for flopped quad kings. Ryan O'Cull said "it was all in preflop" and with good reason as his opponent held {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}. Auville had his unfortunate opponent covered for the knockout and moved to 60,000 in chips with that pot.

Auville is a popular sports radio co-host for the Sports Junkies on 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C. and won his package here at a Maryland Live event.
