Welcome back for PokerNews' Day 2 live coverage of the 2014 PPC Aruba World Championship Main Event. There were a total of 138 entries and 52 players are returning today with eyes on the Main Event trophy and first place money. Steve Karp enters the day with 152,700 and the chip lead and is followed closely by Jeff Hartwick who has a stack of 148,500.

The 2012 Champion of this event and third place finisher last year, Joe Serock, comes in to play today with 76,100 in chips. Sitting at his table is last year's runner up and World Series of Poker bracelet winner Joe Ebanks who enters play with a big stack of 112,600. Other notables joining in on the Day 2 action include Chris Bolek, Mark Kroon, John Ott, Nick Mann, Jesse Chinni, Josh Kay, John Auville, and Ryan Franklin.

Day 2 Seating Assignments and Chip Counts

First place will collect $72,163 and the top 15 finishers will make the money so there is some time left before we hit the money bubble. The tentative plan is to play 12 levels today but that can change depending on circumstances and is at the discretion of the PPC tournament staff.

Play will be getting underway in approximately 15 minutes at 1 p.m. local time. PokerNews will be here until the very end providing you all of the exciting poker action here in beautiful Aruba.
