The tournament clock is showing that we're up to 88 entrants already with five unlucky players already having hit the rail. Fortunately for those five they will have plenty of opportunities over the next two days to build a stack.
Eddie Kofler was the winner of the very first Main Event held here at Tampa Downs in July of 2013. He took home an impressive $33,952 for that victory. Kofler, a former minor league pitcher in the Tampa Devil Rays system, is back in action here today looking to repeat his performance from last year. He's all smiles right now as we get set to wrap up the first hour of play.
