Yang Zhang raised to 900 from the early position and Nurlan Boobekov three-bet to 1,525 on his direct left. Action folded to Glenn Young in the big blind who decided to defend it. Zhang called too.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Young and Zhang checked, Boobekov continued with a bet of 1,700 which only Young called.

They then both checked through the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {a-Hearts} on the river. Young tabled {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Boobekov quickly turned around {q-Spades}{8-Spades} to claim the pot with the flopped pair of eights.
