Jaya Busts Zorigtbaatar

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Ardi Jaya
Ardi Jaya

With 14,000 in the middle and the turn showing {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Ardi Jaya faced the check-shove of Biziya Zorigtbaatar in the small blind and asked for a count, having invested a bet of 4,000 by then. The jam was for 26,550 in total and Jaya made the call with the superior stack.

Biziya Zorigtbaatar: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Ardi Jaya: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Jaya had secured the knockout already as the blank {8-Spades} on the river was a mere formality, and he moved up to more than three times the starting stack early into the third level of the day.

Graeme Putt
Graeme Putt

Just before the break, Graeme Putt bet the river of a board {9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for 4,400 and his sole remaining opponent called. Putt rolled over the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the nut flush and that won the pot.

Murtagh Eliminated by Stefanic

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Brett Murtagh was all in with the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair and flush draw and Andrew Stefanic turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for the overpair and one heart blocker. Both the {k-Diamonds} turn and the {a-Diamonds} river were blanks and Murtagh hit the rail.

The same table also features Chao Duan and Luis Arrilucea.

Hia Hit Quads; Psarras Still Alive

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Christine Hia
Christine Hia

Michelle Psarras doubled up through Gautam Dhingra with {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on the {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Clubs} board while Dhingra held {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

But just before this hand, Psarras doubled up Christine Hia when Hia held {3-}{3-} on a {5-}{6-}{3-}{q-}{3-} board. Psarras had flopped a set too, bet on the turn, and shoved on the river to find out her full house wasn't good enough against Hia's quads.

Shortly after, Psarras shoved again after another player had raised and got no action for her {k-}{k-}.

Ward's Queens Cracked

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Martyn Ward was all in for around 10,000 with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Michael Oscuro rejammed with the {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, having lost half of his stack already. The board came {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and the ace on the flop spelled the end for Ward.

The table also features Corey Kempson, Andrew White and Mladen Vukovic.

Zhang Takes From Horowitz

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Jacob Horowitz squeezed to 2,000 before the flop and was called by Yang Zhang. On a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Horowitz in the small blind checked and Zhang bet 2,700. Horowitz raised to 6,000 and Zhang called.

The {10-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Horowitz checked once more, which prompted a bet of 4,500 by Zhang to take down the pot.
