The Chips are Flying

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mustapha Kanit doubled through Dan Colman with king-queen for top pair and a straight draw, while Colman had {9-}{8-} for the bottom end of the straight. Kanit got there and that left Colman very short.

Colman then moved all in for 22,000 and Kanit said "good luck bro", before folding out of the small blind. Timofey Kuznetsov called in the big blind after some consideration.

Dan Colman: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Timofey Kuznetsov: {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

The board came {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Colman doubled. "I saved you, I folded an ace," Kanit added before then saying "come on, one more double and nothing happened. You can double through Erik (Seidel)."

Over on the other table, Rainer Kempe called a bet of 25,000 by Richard Yong on an ace-high board with three spades and was good when just showing {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. "You called with just king-high?" Kanit asked when walking over. Kempe replied with a simple ""i thought I had spades."

Big Double for Seidel

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a series of smaller pots, a big clash unfolded over on table two and the stack of Timofey Kuznetsov took a big hit. It was the first major setback for the Russian since his first double up as short stack and Erik Seidel jumped into the lead.

Kuznetsov raised to 10,000 from the button and Seidel made it 30,000 to go in the small blind, which Kuznetsov called. On the {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Seidel continued for 33,000 and Kuznetsov called. The fireworks continued on the {6-Hearts} turn when Seidel checked, Kuznetsov bet 35,000 and then quickly called the shove of Seidel.

Erik Seidel: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Timofey Kuznetsov: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts} on the river gave Seidel a flush and Kuznetsov let out an "ouchhhh" before paying off the 145,500 of Seidel.

Liang Shoves Into Aldemir and Aido

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Hand 1

Sergio Aido raised to 8,000 from the button and Rainer Kempe defended the big blind to see a flop of {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and Kempe then bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 14,000, which Aido called. The {J-Clubs} river triggered no betting action again and Kempe briefly flashed his cards, while Aido claimed the pot with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

Hand 2

The next hand, Koray Aldemir opened to 8,500 first to act and was met by a three-bet to 18,500 from Aido. Action folded to Yu Liang in the big blind and his all in went through without any resistance. Liang scooped another hand preflop against Kempe after and built his stack without showdown.

"I Gonna Play This Hand Like Christoph"

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Mustapha Kanit is in great mood as usual and very talkative at the tables. He scooped another pot and then faced a raise to 9,000 by Dan Colman on the button. "I gonna play this hand like Christoph (Vogelsang)," joked Kanit and took his time, carefully counting his stack. He then called and the flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Kanit again checked his stack, then changed the order of the chips around before checking. Colman bet 7,500 and Kanit played with the chips some more before folding. "That was pretty authentic, right?" Kanit added and Colman joked back "that was a pretty good Christoph."

Liang Finds a Fortunate Double

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Down to his last 60,500, Yu Liang moved all in as first to act in the last hand of the previous level and Koray Aldemir gave it some consideration from one seat over, while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Yu Liang: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Liang was in bad shape, but the board came {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} to provide the two outer on the river and let the player from Chinese double.

Kanit is "Crushing"

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

After losing a small pot to Dan Colman, Timofey Kuznetsov raised the next hand to 7,500 and Erik Seidel called from one seat over on the button. The {Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop saw Kuznetsov continue for 8,000 and Seidel called before the {A-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river went check, check.

Kuznetsov briefly showed his cards and then mucked when Seidel turned over his {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

One hand later, Colman raised to 7,500 and Mustapha Kanit asked "how much are you now playing?" then called in the big blind. On the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and the {A-Spades} turn, the action went check, check. The duo also checked the {3-Diamonds} river and Kanit said "I win," before flipping over {A-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

"Hey Richard, I have more than starting stack, I am crushing," Kanit said to Richard Yong one table over.

Aldemir Builds Stack

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Without showdown, Koray Aldemir has built up his stack nicely and now sits in the middle of the pack. He defended his big blind against a button raise by Rainer Kempe for 7,500 and the duo then checked the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, no betting action took place either and the {10-Clubs} river completed the board.

Aldemir bet 11,500 and Kempe gave up the pot by sending his cards into the muck.

Queen-Nine for Kanit

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In a limped three-way pot, Mustapha Kanit checked the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. Timofey Kuznetsov checked in the big blind, as did Mikita Badziakouski on the button. Kanit then bet the {9-Hearts} turn for 6,000 and just Kuznetsov called.

The {2-Spades} river completed the board and Kanit bet 12,000 with exactly 12,000 behind. Kuznetsov called and Kanit rolled over {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. "One time each bro, queen nine - queen nine," the Italian added while scooping up the pot. Both had been involved in a small pot one orbit ago that Kuznetsov won with queen-nine.

Kanit then lost a small pot to Erik Seidel and remains the shortest stack, which doesn't change his positive attitude.

Kuznetsov Takes from Kanit; Aldemir and Aido Chop

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, Mustapha Kanit checked the flop of {J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Timofey Kuznetsov checked behind. "You got the best check in the world bro," Kanit joked and the duo headed to the {Q-Hearts} turn. Kanit checked, Kuznetsov bet 6,000 and was called. On the {7-Clubs} river, Kanit check-called again for 16,000 and mucked when Kuznetsov showed him {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for top pair.

Over on table one, Koray Aldemir opened to 7,000 and Sergio Aido three-bet to 13,000. Aldemir moved all in and Aido called.

Koray Aldemir: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Sergio Aido: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The board came {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and the full house on the board secured the split pot after a roller coaster of emotions for both players.

"I gonna double soon. Richard (Yong), bust three people and we have a final table," Kanit joked when walking over to the other table.
