Back to the Drawing Board for Kempe

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Without showdown, Erik Seidel almost doubled his short stack while Rainer Kempe was reduced to 10 big blinds again after a confrontation with Dan Colman before doubling up right after.

Kempe limped the small blind and Colman checked. On the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop, Kempe bet 40,000 and Colman called before the {3-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Kempe bet 70,000, Colman raised to 150,000 and Kempe called. The {3-Spades} river paired the board twice and Kempe made it 190,000 to go, Colman called and didn't have to show his cards to claim the pot as Kempe mucked.

Kempe then three-bet jammed the big blind for 290,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Colman quickly called with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. The board came {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Kempe flopped a set and rivered a flush to keep the hopes of the 6-Max title alive.
