Katz Takes Heaps From Leow

Level 12 : 0/0, 15,000 ante

Cary Katz made it 130,000 under the gun with {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Ivan Leow defended {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} with a call. Katz fired 120,000 on the flop of {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Leow called with trips.

Katz hit a straight on the {10-Hearts} turn and he continued for 130,000. Leow called again and the river fell {A-Diamonds}. Katz decided to place in a small bet of 100,000 and Leow decided to raise to 525,000, leaving himself with just 455,000. Katz was puzzled but he managed to pull the call to claim the pot and increase his stack to 5 million.
