Richard Yong
Richard Yong

Before the flop, Tom Dwan called a raise to 70,000 before Richard Yong moved all in on the button for 565,000. Action folded back to Dwan who called after some time.

Tom Dwan: {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Richard Yong: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{K-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Yong earned himself a double up with a better two pair than Dwan.

Dwan Gets Heaps of Chips With Quads

Level 10 : 0/0, 10,000 ante
Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, Richard Yong checked with {J-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Xuan Tan fired 50,000 with {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Tom Dwan flopped the bottom two pair on the button and he called with his {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Yong came along and Dwan hit a boat on the {8-Clubs} turn.

Tan, however, fired another shell, making it 140,000. Dwan kept calling and Yong escaped.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Dwan finished with quads. Tan was still trying to steal the pot, firing 450,000. He had no chance against Dwan who raised and Tan's bluff was finally over.

Jetten Doubles Through Robl

Level 10 : 0/0, 10,000 ante

On a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Peter Jetten put out a bet of 50,000 holding {J-Spades}{8-Spades} for a straight. Andrew Robl then raised to 175,000 with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a set . Jetten then moved all in and Robl quickly called.

The turn was the {A-Spades} and the river was the {J-Clubs} and the board didn't pair for Robl, and that meant that Jetten would double up with his straight.

Dwan Crosses 3 Million

Level 10 : 0/0, 10,000 ante

Three-way to the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, Tom Dwan led out 50,000 to the pot with {K-Spades}{10-Spades} and Xuan Tan raised to 210,000 with {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, forcing a fold from Cary Katz who had rags.

Dwan called with his big draw and binked {7-Spades} on the turn, improving to a flush at the same time when Tan spiked a straight.

Dwan led out 300,000 and Tan called. The {9-Hearts} hit the river and Dwan blasted 575,000 and Tan thought for over a minute. Then he was able to lay his hand down and save his stack from further damage.

Ivey Makes Great Call But Unlucky River Sends Him Packing

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

With {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} on the table and around 900,000 in the pot, Mikita Badziakouski shoved on Phil Ivey for 840,000 effective. Ivey tanked for over two minutes, burning four of his time extensions. Then he finally called to find himself ahead.

Badziakouski: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Ivey: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Badziakouski sighed but the {J-Clubs} river gave him a jack-high straight and he sent Ivey to the rail in a large pot that helped him eclipse 3 million in chips.

Dwan Sends Yong to the Rail

Wai Kin Yong

With about 115,000 in the pot on a board showing {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs} Peter Jetten was first to act. He put out a bet of 40,000. Wai Kin Yong was next to act and he raised, making it 155,000. Tom Dwan was on the button and he raised as well, putting in a three-bet to 1,000,000, enough to cover both players. Jetten folded and Yong dropped into the tank. He thought through multiple time banks before deciding to call.

Tom Dwan: {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Wai Kin Yong: {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Dwan had a straight but still needed to fade a board pair in order to seal the deal. He did so as the {K-Spades} dropped on the river and that would earn him the pot, putting him over 2,500,000. Yong, on the other hand, was eliminated from the tournament, bringing the field down to two tables.

Xuan Tan raised to 60,000 with {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} in the hijack, earning two callers in Richard Yong with {A-Spades}{9-Spades} and Cary Katz with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

The {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop saw Tan shove and Yong called for his last 265,000.

The {8-Diamonds} landed on the turn and the {8-Spades} river improved Yong's hand into nut flush. He collected the pot, doubling to 720,000.

Yong Missteps and Doubles Robl

Level 10 : 0/0, 10,000 ante
Andrew Robl
Andrew Robl

There was roughly 190,000 in the middle of the table on a board of {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Wai Kin Yong checked over to Andrew Robl who was on the button. Robl put out a bet of 150,000 and Yong thought for a bit before moving all in with a covering stack. Robl snap called and Yong let out a groan.

Wai Kin Yong: {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Andrew Robl: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Robl flopped a straight and that left Yong drawing to the three remaining nines to make a better straight. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and the river was the {Q-Clubs} and Robl faded to earn a double up to nearly two million chips while Yong dropped under a million.

"Why you double him up!?" Phua said, laughing at Yong's mistake.

Yong Doesn't Let Go to Dwan

Level 9 : 0/0, 8,000 ante

Paul Phua limped, as did Tom Dwan, Peter Jetten and Andrew Robl. Wai Kin Yong checked his option on the button.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Dwan led out with a bet of 60,000. Robl and Jetten folded but Yong called. Phua thought for a bit, then folded as well.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Dwan continued, putting out a bet of 150,000. Yong called once more.

Both players checked on the {K-Spades} river. Dwan showed down {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} but it was no good as Yong held {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a better pair.

"Huh?" Dwan said incredulously upon seeing the hand.

"You guys make me fold the best hand!" Phua said laughing.

"I think we all folded the best hand," Robl said laughing as well.
