Aido Blasts Three Barrels

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer made it 22,000 in the first position and two players accepted his price: Sergio Aido in the hijack and David Peters in the cutoff.

O'Dwyer checked when the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} flop came out and Aido took the betting lead, firing 45,000. Peters folded his hand but O'Dwyer stuck around, calling.

The turn fell {7-Spades} and Aido sized his second shell at 125,000. O'Dwyer check-called again and the {10-Hearts} hit the river. O'Dwyer checked and Aido slid in a tower of chips, putting O'Dwyer all in for around 320,000 effectively.

O'Dwyer expressed his frustration after seeing Aido pull the trigger. He slammed the felt and sighed. After a few more seconds, O'Dwyer laid his hand down and Aido raked in the pot without showing his hole cards.

Multiple Streets of Value for Badziakouski

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nick Schulman limped in the small blind for 8,000 with {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Mikita Badziakouski raised in the big blind to 28,000 holding {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Schulman called.

The flop was {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Schulman checked. Badziakouski put out a bet of 14,000 and Schulman called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Schulman checked again. Badziakouski put out a bet of 63,000. Schulman called once more.

On the {6-Hearts} river, Schulman checked for a third time. Badziakouski went for value by putting out a bet of 160,000. Schulman was in a tough spot with his two pair, and he thought it over for a good while, using multiple time bank chips, before finally calling. Badziakouski showed down his trips and that would earn him another pot.

Juanda Finishes Off Yong

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Richard Yong
Richard Yong

Patrick Antonius opened to 18,000 from the cutoff with {K-Spades}{10-Hearts} and action folded to the button where John Juanda moved all in with {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. Action folded back around and everyone folded except Richard Yong who was forced all in from the small blind for 2,000 with {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and that gave Yong a pair of fives, but it was behind Juanda's pair of sevens so he was eliminated.

Tan Doubles Through Robl, Then Busts to Luc Greenwood

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Xuan Tan was in the small blind, racing for his last 74,000 against Andrew Robl who had {A-Clubs}{5-Spades} on the button. Tan held {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and it looked that he caught a ten on the river to secure a double up. However, the next few minutes saw Tan leave his chair as Luc Greenwood claimed his stack and Tan walked away just before the end of the level.

Greenwood Makes a Good Call to Vault Over 1.5 Million

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With around 340,000 in the pot, Xuan Tan and Sam Greenwood made it to the river of the {3-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} board. Tan fired what looked like a bet of 220,000 and Greenwood tossed in one chip, calling. "You win," Tan said, showing just queen-eight and Greenwood opened the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for top two to scoop the large pot. Greenwood came back with the chip lead and he managed to significantly increase his belongings through the first two levels of today's play.

Phua Leaves Yong With a Micro Stack

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Paul Phua opened on the button with {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} to 18,000 and Richard Yong moved all in on the button for 252,000 with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Phua quickly called and that put him at risk with the slightly shorter stack.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades} and that put Yong in a deep hole. He was left drawing dead on the {7-Spades} turn and the river was the {6-Spades} which was just procedural. That meant that Phua would double to 512,000 while Yong was left with just 2,000 chips.

Nitsche Doubles With Big Slick

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche was all in for 176,000 with {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Luc Greenwood tried to deliver a knockout with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Greenwood's hand was dominated but he picked a few extra outs on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop but the {6-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river were harmless for Nitsche who secured a double.

Juanda Sucks Out to Get Healthy

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

John Juanda moved all in under the gun with {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Ivan Leow called on the button with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} action folded around putting Juanda at risk for 189,000.

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Juanda spiked a set on the flop, meaning that he would double up to right under 400,000. Leow is still healthy though with a stack over a million.
