Patgorski Cracks Jetten's Aces

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Peter Jetten and Gabe Patgorski stuffed their chips in with Patgorski all in for 390,000. Patgorski had his back pushed against the wall, trailing with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} against {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. However, the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board rescued him with the jack on the turn and he secured a big double when the river bricked.

"I knew he had aces, but I was like, 'f*** it'," Patgorski joked.

Badziakouski Moves Over a Million After Taking from Ivey

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Phil Ivey limped in under the gun with {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Mikita Badziakouski was in the hijack with {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}. He called as well and Alan Sass called with {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} in the cutoff. On the button, Tom Dwan checked with {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The fop was {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and action checked to Badziakouski who bet 16,000. Ivey was the only caller.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and this time, Ivey checked again. Badziakouski put out a bet of 65,000. Ivey tanked for a bit, then called.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Ivey checked again after making two pair. Badziakouski made a straight though, and he made it 150,000. Ivey tanked a bit, then he called. His hand was no good, so Badziakouski took down the pot to move over one million.

Jetten Gets a Double After Clashing Against Patgorski

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Peter Jetten was in the hijack all in for 376,000. The cards were already turned up as Gabe Patgorski had a chance to score a knockout.

It looked that the money went in on the flop of {7-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Spades} and Jetten was ahead with {K-Spades}{J-Spades} against {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Patgorski had a double-gutter and he hit a straight on the turn, but it was meaningless as the {6-Spades} gave Jetten a flush at the same time.

Patgorski was drawing dead and the {7-Spades} completed the board to make Jetten's double official.

Lamb Gets Tricky With Trips

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Phil Ivey limped in the second position and Ben Lamb overlimped in the hijack. Mikita Baziakouski came along from the cutoff and Alan Sass decided to check his options with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}, hitting Lamb's {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The betting round got checked to Sass who fired 25,000. Only Lamb called and they continued heads-up to the {10-Clubs} turn which brought a gutshot for Sass.

Lamb opted to lead 70,000 and Sass stuck around, calling. The river was the {9-Spades} and Lamb made a tricky check. Sass fell into the trap and fired 175,000 but his bluff couldn't get through. Lamb contemplated his decision for quite some time and then made the call.

"Sorry that's a nitroll," Lamb apologized in the showdown

Sass Finally Seizes Some Chips

Level 8 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

Tom Dwan raised to 50,000 under the gun, earning a call from Ben Lamb in the hijack. Alan Sass shoved his 360,000 out of the cutoff and Dwan reraised all in, making it 610,000. Lamb folded his {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.

Sass: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Dwan: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Dwan caught an open-ender on {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades} but the rest of the board ran out {10-Clubs} and {7-Diamonds} to hold Sass' hand ahead. Sass, who is on his sixth entry, doubled to 788,000 and stayed in contention. The registration has been closed at the start of the eighth level so Sass wouldn't be able to fire one more shell if he fell again.

Phil Ivey looked down at {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} on the button and moved all in for 431,000. Both Lamb and Jetten let their hands go and Ivey claimed the pot preflop.
