Badziakouski Respectively Declines

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The flop showed {j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and there was 113,000 in the pot. Mikita Badziakouski bet 40,000 and Tan Xuan called to see the {5-Clubs} turn card.

Badziakouski fired in 100,000 after seeing the five and Xuan moved all in for 284,000.

"Why! Why! It was a mistake," Badziakouski said as he threw his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Xuan.

Kabrhel Overtakes Chidwick

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 120,000 in the small blind. Kabrhel moved his seat about a meter back from the table, took a good sip from his water, then moved the chair back and called.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Chidwick continued for 80,000. Once again, the Czech shifted his seat back and forth before committing the call.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Chidwick checked, Kabrhel put out a 100,000-chip and bet an inaudible, slightly lesser amount, and Chidwick folded.

Greenwood Shoves Xuan Out with Aces

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood was under the gun when he raised to 30,000, Tan Xuan called in the small blind and the dealer spread out {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} on the flop.

Xuan check-called a bet of 50,000 from Greenwood and an {8-Clubs} peeled off as the turn card. Action again checked to Greenwood who bet 100,000 and again Xuan check-called.

The {k-Hearts} completed the board, Xuan tapped the table and Greenwood pushed in 226,000. Xuan threw away his hand, sending the pot to Greenwood who tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for a pair of rockets.

Cao Loses Two in a Row

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

From the cutoff, Rui Cao was involved against Michael Soyza in the big blind. The board read {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Soyza check-called 75,000 from Cao with {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

The river was the {a-Diamonds} and Soyza led out for 225,000 with his eight-high. Cao, holding {j-Hearts} and an unknown card, shook his head and ultimately folded the winner.

The next hand, Cao picked up {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and made it 28,000. Yu Liang called one seat over with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Aaron Zang called from the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The flop was {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Cao bet 35,000. Yu called and Zang folded.

Yu improved to two pair on the {k-Clubs} turn, but neither that street nor the {9-Clubs} river prompted any more bets from either player.
