A star-laden field is expected to turn out for this popular poker variant that promises a lot of action. Runners will start with three bullets of 100,000 each and blinds will increase every 40 minutes. Any bullets remaining at the beginning of Level 8 will be used, and registration will end at the completion of the eighth level. There will be a 15-minute break every three levels, with a 30-minute dinner break at the end of Level 9. Day 1 will play 12 levels and return tomorrow at 1 p.m. local time for the finale.

Unlimited re-entry is available until the end of Level 8. Players will have 12 time bank cards upon registering and they will receive five more at the close of registration, with five more coming when the final table is reached. There will be 20 seconds to act preflop, 25 seconds on the flop, and 30 seconds on the turn and the river.

You can catch today's action on YouTube and Twitch via Triton Poker with a livestream that will operate on a 30-minute security delay.

PokerNews will provide updates on a delay to avoid spoiling the live stream, so be sure to stay with us for coverage of Event #3: $75,000 Short Deck - Ante Only at Merit Crystal Cove Resort and Casino in North Cyprus.
