Chih-Yuan Wang raised it up to 225,000 off a stack of 24 big blinds and then peeled a three-bet to 575,000 by Jun Obara in the cutoff. On the A♥9♠4♠ flop, Wang led for 200,000 and Obara raised to 475,000 for Wang to call.

The J♠ came on the turn and Wang jammed for some 1.6 million, Obara instantly called.

Alisson Piekazewicz made it 105,000 to go from middle position and Haohui Ma called in rthe small blind. On the 9♣8♣6♠ flop, Ma led for 160,000 and did so again for 320,000 on the J♥ turn, both of which Piekazewicz called. Ma then jammed the 3♥ on the river and Piekazewicz called with the Q♣10♦ for the nut straight, beating the 8♠8♦ of Ma in a big pot.

Han Shao limped the button and Daniel Rezaei did so from the small blind, Yuan Xu was forced all-in for 50,000 in the big blind. The two active players checked down the Q♥Q♠9♠10♠4♦ board and this table was the first to show their cards.

Xu had the 8♠5♦ and was on the verge of eliminqtion. Shao's A♠2♥ beat him already and the 10♣2♦ of Rezaei won the pot.

Not far away, Joseph Cheong raised the button to 125,000 and Hongjun Zhao defended the big blind. Following the Q♥6♦5♣ flop, Zhao check-raised to 500,000 and Cheong called all-in for 480,000.

While they waited for the other tables to finish, Cheong left his seat and walked over one table to Ren Lin. "Now it is my turn," Cheong joked and Lin came to his table to follow the action. Long Cao jokingly suggested for Cheong to buy insurance with Lin, and Yang Wang jokingly pulled out some cash.

Martirosian showed the K♠9♠ for the top pair and Hrabec's A♦10♣ was no good.
