Artur Martirosian raised to 600,000 first to act and Weiran Pu called on the button, leading them to the 10♦5♣4♥ flop. Martirosian checked and then called a bet of 700,000 by Pu.
The 6♥ followed on the turn and Martirosian checked again. Pu now bet 1,500,000 and that ended the hand right there.
First to act, [Removed:546] made it 600,000 to go and the action folded all the way to table short stack Julian Warhurst in the big blind. The Aussie had only 2.6 million left behind and pushed all-in for [Removed:547] to call.

The Q♥3♥2♦ flop spelled bad news for Warhurst, who needed a seven or running hearts to stave off elimination. No hope came with the 6♠ turn and the 2♠ river ended his tournament run in 21st place for $45,200.
Ren Lin raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Daiki Shingae three-bet to 1,600,000 two seats over, picking up a call from "Lady Gaga". Lin checked the A♣K♦3♣ flop to then call a bet worth 2,300,000 and checked again the 7♦ on the turn. Shingae now bet 1,500,000 and Lin stuck around, checked the J♥ on the river.
Shingae now moved all-in and forced out Lin who dropped back into the danger zone.
[Removed:546] made it 600,000 to go and was called only by Yuefeng Pan in the big blind. The duo headed to the K♦9♣8♥ flop on which Pan opted for a check-call worth 550,000. Pan also checked the 2♣ turn and [Removed:547] bet 2,700,000.
That led to the check-raise of Pan for 10,000,000 and [Removed:547] folded.
Calvin Lee open-jammed in the small blind for 1,800,000 and Mehdi Chaoui called in the big blind with more.

It looked like Lee would be doubling as the flop landed 2♠5♥4♣ and the turn brought the 4♥, but the river then came the J♣ to give Chaoui the winner to send Lee to the rail in 22nd place for $45,200.
Down to the last 4,700,000 and under the gun, Yixi Tang moved all-in and Sergei Petrushevskii did so from the cutoff to force out everybody else behind.

The 9♣7♦5♥4♠6♥ board delivered no help for Tang and Petrushevskii's kicker advantage reduced the field to the final 22 contenders.
Dajie Zhuo opened to 500,000 in the hijack and Naohiro Matsuda and Ren Lin called in the blinds.
Action checked to Zhuo on the flop of A♥4♦3♥ and he bet 500,000. Only Lin called. Lin checked again on the 9♣ turn and Zhuo bet 800,000. Lin called.
Lin then led out for 1,800,000 on the K♥ river and Zhuo called, only to muck as Lin showed 9♥5♥ for a rivered flush.

Shortly after the action resumed, Yayun Liu opened to 500,000 and then called all-in when Mehdi Chaoui pushed all-in out of the small blind.

Liu was at risk but ahead. However, the 6♠5♥4♣9♣10♦ board gave Chaoui a set of nines and Liu became the first casualty on the final three tables.
Liu bowed out in 24th place for $38,000 and all remaining 23 players have now locked up at least $45,200 for their efforts.
