Jesse Lonis Eliminated in 8th Place ($94,000)
Jesse Lonis' turbo-charged final day performance has come to a swift end at the $20k NLH 8-Handed final table after running into trouble at the hands of Alejandro Lococo.
Lonis raised to 450,000 from under the gun, with only Lococo calling from the big blind.
After a 7♦3♠6♣ flop, Lococo checked, Lonis bet 650,000, and Lococo once again made the call.
The 7♥ turn card paired the board, and this time Lococo led for 800,000. The Triton stream graphics showed that GTO Wizard recommended an all-in raise 100% of the time, and Lonis played it by the book as he moved in for his remaining 3,100,000. Lococo snapped and Lonis saw the bad news.
Jesse Lonis: J♥J♣
Alejandro Lococo: J♦7♠
The last remaining jack in the deck didn't appear to save Lonis. The river 2♠ came and the ever-entertaining New Yorker exited the table as Lococo raked in a huge one.
