Fan favorite Simon Trumper has been knocked out of the tournament. The villain: non other than Johan Bakketeig who he tangled with before.
We asked Bakketeig what had happened and he told us Trumper had raised and Bakketeig had three bet with . Trumper had then shoved with his , but had failed to improve.
Another familiar face gone from the tournament as 108 players remain.

A 2,100 raise from under the gun was called by Paul Moran of Ireland two seats away and then squeezed to 8,000 by Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody who was to Moran's immediate left. The initial raiser folded, but Moran called.
The flop fell and Moran wasted no time in leading out for 9,000. Cody replayed the hand over in his head before deciding to save his chips for a better spot. As Moran raked in the pot, he turned over .

"Yeah, I got a little crazy" Liv Boeree said with a smile as we tracked her down in the chess tournament room to ask her the details about her bust out.
A player in early/middle position opened and Boeree in the cutoff called with .
Both players checked the flop and a hit the turn. The initial raiser bet out and Boeree called.
A hit the river and the player bet out small. Boeree shoved all in for a little over 15,000 and her opponent called with pocket queens. Boeree was caught with her hand in the cookie jar and exited the tournament.
Liv Boeree has unfortunately been eliminated from the tournament, and we weren't there to write down the specifics. We do know for sure she's out though, she's looking for a chess game to play she tweeted. That's not just a saying or obscure poker terminology, she's actually looking for a game. There's plenty of chess boards out here in the Villa Marina Arcade Harris Promenade as the £165 Combined Chess & NL Holdem event kicked off two hours ago.

Rick Dacey raised from the hijack, setting the price to play at 2,200. The action folded to Deborah Worley-Roberts in the big blind and as she called she said, "It's just me and you again, sweetcheeks!"
The dealer spread the flop, Worley-Roberts checked and Dacey checked behind. A third heart, the , came into play on the turn and Worley-Roberts bet 5,000. Dacey called.
On the river, Worley-Roberts led for 15,000 and Dacey went into the tank for the best part of a minute, before taking a sip of his drink and ultimately folding.
"Ain't no red in there, sweetheart," said Worley-Roberts as she turned over .

On a board of we saw both Norwegian player Johan Bakketeig in the big blind and Simon Trumper on the button check.
The river was the and Bakketeig bet out 4,700. Trumper didn't hesitate too long and raised to 11,500 with about 36,500 behind. Bakketeig wasn't one to waste time either and moved a big stack of 5,000 blue chips over the line to put Trumper all in.
Trumper tanked for a couple of minutes before laying it down. Bakketeig checked his cards one last time, before silently sliding them into the muck.
