Rann Gets a Shove Through

Joshua Boulton raised to 300,000 as the first player to act and received calls from Rickie Vedhara and Lukas Dimsa. James Rann moved all-in from the big blind and claimed the pot uncontested as all three opponents folded.

Vedhara then raised first to act and claimed the blinds and big blind ante.

The next tiny battle of the blinds between Vedhara and Lukas Dimsa was checked to the river. Vedhara bet the minimum, Dimsa called and won the pot without needing to show his cards as Vedhara mucked.

Dimsa and Boulton Tangle Twice

Lukas Dimsa raised and subsequently four-bet into Joshua Boulton to force a fold from his opponent.

They tangled again shortly after when Dimsa opened to 250,000 on the button and Boulton came along out of the big blind. The flop was checked by Boulton, who then check-raised from 250,000 to 700,000 in order to shut down Dimsa.

Rann Flips Well To Double Through Dimsa

Lukas Dimsa opened to 250,000 in the cutoff and James Rann got the last 1,290,000 in from the button, which Dimsa called.

Dimsa Cracks Kings to Double Through Rann

Lukas Dimsa won a pot on a double-paired eight high board on which the of Rickie Vedhara were good enough for eights and fives, seemingly having a kicker problem as he double-checked his cards.

Down to around 3.2 million he raised to 350,000 out of the small blind. James Rann in the big blind was on the other side of the dealer and glanced over to check the stack before making it 850,000 to go.

Dimsa jammed for 3,185,000 and Rann snap-called.

The flop vaulted Dimsa into the lead, which he retained on the turn and river.

"It's a sick game, isn't it," Dimsa replied to the table chat of Rann.

Boulton Bites Back Against Vedhara

Joshua Boulton limped the small blind and then called a raise by Rickie Vedhara out of the big blind. Both checked the flop and the followed on the turn. Boulton checked once more and Vedhara now bet 280,000.

The check-raise of Boulton for what appeared to be 925,000 instantly won the pot as Vedhara snap-mucked his cards.

Vedhara Four-Bets Into Dimsa

Some small pots followed after the big clash but provided no major action.

Rickie Vedhara then raised to 240,000 as the first player to act and he was three-bet to 630,000 by Lukas Dimsa on the button. What followed was the four-bet to 1,400,000 by Vedhara and that shut down the resistance of Dimsa.

Vedhara Doubles Into the Lead

James Rann limped the first hand after the break and Joshua Boulton checked his option in the big blind. They checked the flop, Rann bet the turn for 140,000 and Boulton asked.

Both checked the on the river and Rann's was no good as Boulton had that beat with the .

In the next hand, Boulton limped the small blind and Rickie Vedhara raised to 420,000 total. Some 30 seconds passed and Boulton then moved all-in with the covering stack to send his opponent into the tank.

Vedhara went through all combinations with visible motion and he eventually called it off for more than 30 blinds.

The mighty ducks remained ahead on the flop but that changed on the turn. No deuce but the fell on the river, shipping a large double for 3,490,000 to Vedhara.

Break for the Final Four Players

The last four players are on a scheduled 15-minute break. Once they get down to the final three contenders, the level duration will be cut in half once the next level gets underway.

In the penultimate hand before the break, James Rann opened to 200,000 first to act and Lukas Dimsa defended the big blind before check-folding the flop to a bet of 175,000.

Last but not least, Rickie Vedhara made it 200,000 to go on the button and was called by Dimsa as well as Rann in the blinds. They checked on the flop and a bet by Vedhara on the turn won the pot.
