Back to Cruise Control for Boulton

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Joshua Boulton raised to 160,000 on the button and Alexios Zervos defended the big blind. On a flop of {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, Zervos checked and Boulton's bet worth 140,000 won it as Zervos mucked the {k-Spades}{9-Clubs} face up.

Boulton stole the blinds next and then min-raised once more. This time, Lukas Dimsa called out of the big blind and check-folded the {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Small Pots for Sitbon and Dimsa

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Julien Sitbon raised to 175,000 and was called by Joshua Boulton, who then checked the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Sitbon bet and won the pot without resistance.

Lukas Dimsa then opened to 160,000 and earned a call from Boulton in the cutoff. The {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop brought a bet worth 175,000 by Dimsa, which got rid of Boulton once more.

Kully Sidhu Eliminated in 7th Place (£18,644)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Kully Sidhu
Kully Sidhu

Joshua Boulton opened the action with a raise to 160,000 and Kully Sidhu jammed out of the small blind. The initial raiser asked for a count and then called when it was deemed to be for 955,000.

Kull Sidhu: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Joshua Boulton: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop left Sidhu in desperate shape and it was all over on the {4-Diamonds} turn, which made the {3-Spades} river a formality. Sidhu's exit in 7th place comes with a payday of £18,644.

Zervos Chips Up in Showdown

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On the tail end of a hand involving Alexios Zervos in the big blind and Joshua Boulton on the button, the board showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Zervos bet 155,000 and Boulton called to get shown the {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a flush with the nine by the Greek.

Lukas Dimsa then raised to 160,000 and Rickie Vedhara three-bet to 450,000 on the button in order to win the pot.

Lorenc Boci Eliminated in 8th Place (£14,341)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Lorenc Boci
Lorenc Boci

Soon after returning from the break, Julien Sitbon limped the cutoff and Joshua Boulton moved all-in from the big blind to force a fold.

In the next hand, Boulton opened to 240,000 in the small blind and Lorenc Boci jammed for around 1.6 million. Boulton double-checked his cards to make sure and then called instantly.

Lorenc Boci: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Joshua Boulton: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop added a gutshot to Boci's outs while some of them vanished on the {9-Hearts} turn. Nothing changed anymore on the {5-Clubs} river and Boci had to settle for 8th place and £14,341.

Zervos Doesn't Bluff Vedhara

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Alexios Zervos raised to 125,000 from under the gun to pick up a call from Lukas Dimsa and Rickie Vedhara, the latter of which was in the big blind. The trio checked the {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and Vedhara bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 125,000, which only Zervos called.

Zervos then checked behind the {3-Hearts} river and said "I guess I am not supposed to bluff the river" as he exposed his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Vedhara had that beat with the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks to win the pot.

Sidhu Jams Twice Successfully

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Julien Sitbon raised to 125,000 from under the gun and Kully Sidhu then jammed out of the big blind. The Frenchman asked for a count but folded when it was deemed to be for 1,025,000.

One hand later, Sidhu open-shoved out of the small blind and Sitbon let go once more. Sidhu allowed him to peel the cards and the dealer exclaimed "show one show all" as Sitbon flashed the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} for everybody to see.
