Dimsa Gets Some Back From Boulton

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Lukas Dimsa raised the button to 125,000 and Joshua Boulton defended the big blind. The {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop brought a check-call by Boulton and the {2-Clubs} turn was checked. Boulton also checked the {a-Diamonds} on the river and Dimsa then bet 350,000 for Boulton to call.

Dimsa rolled over the {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for two pair and that won the pot.

"It's the exact same spot as the ace-three before," Alexios Zervos chimed in.

Boulton Gets Value From Rann

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Lukas Dimsa opened the action with a raise to 125,000 from an early position. James Rann then three-bet to 375,000 from one seat over to win the pot uncontested.

Up next, Joshua Boulton raised from under the gun to pick up a call by James Rann. They headed to the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop on which both players opted to check. The {5-Clubs} turn saw Rann check-call for 125,000 and the {a-Diamonds} river completed the board.

Rann checked once more and paid off the 475,000 bet by Boulton to get shown the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the effective second nuts. That won the pot as Rann exposed {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, pipped to it by one notch.

Various Chip Changes at a Glance

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Alexios Zervos chipped up without any major drama and up next it was James Rann who raised to 125,000. Lorenc Boci three-bet to 300,000 only for Rann to jam it in and force a fold from Boci.

Joshua Boulton then raised to 125,000 from under the gun and Rickie Vedhara called from two seats over. The {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop brought a bet worth 115,000 by Boulton and a call by Vedhara. They checked the {a-Hearts} on the turn and Boulton check-folded the {k-Spades} river to a bet by Vedhara.

Boci then raised to 130,000 and Kully Sidhu called in the hijack. The {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} board was checked through and Boci's {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} ended up as the winner.

Boulton Gets Value From Sidhu

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Joshua Boulton raised to 125,000 and earned a call from Kully Sidhu in the big blind. The {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop saw Sidhu check-call for 100,000 and the {10-Spades} on the turn went check, check.

Following the {a-Spades} river, Sidhu checked once more and Boulton bet 330,000. The reluctant call by Sidhu was the result and Boulton's {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for aces and treys won the pot.

In the very next hand, Boulton raised to 125,000 and Sidhu jammed for 845,000 in the small blind. Boulton asked for a count and opted to fold.

Rann Doubles Through Boulton

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
James Rann
James Rann

James Rann got his 970,000 in before the flop in the cutoff and he was looked up by chip leader Joshua Boulton on the button.

James Rann: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Joshua Boulton: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Rann had the best of it preflop and locked up the double on the turn of a {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} board to put a dent into Boulton's big stack.

Boulton Wins Showdown Pot Against Dimsa

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Lukas Dimsa raised the button to 100,000 and received a call by chip leader Joshua Boulton in the big blind. The {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop was checked by Boulton, who subsequently called a bet worth 75,000 by Dimsa.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn was checked and Boulton bet the {4-Hearts} river for 125,000. Dimsa gave it brief consideration and made the call but mucked once Boulton revealed the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for sevens and fours.

Zervos Gets Some Value From Vedhara

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In a limped pot between Rickie Vedhara out of the small blind and Alexios Zervos in the big blind, a small bet and call went in after the {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. Vedhara checked the {10-Hearts} turn and then called a bet worth 185,000 by Zervos.

The {8-Spades} on the river was knuckled back by Zervos, who rolled over the {6-Spades}{2-Clubs} for two pair. Once Vedhara flashed his cards, Zervos gasped as the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} were exposed.

"I guess I missed some value there on the river," he added in table chat.

Rann Runs Up a Profit

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Julien Sitbon won a small pot against Rickie Vedhara when he defended the big blind and his {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} was the best hand on a checked through {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades} river.

He then limped in from the small blind and Lukas Dimsa raised to 200,000, earning a fold from the Frenchman.

Sitbon raised to 100,000 soon thereafter and folded near instantly when James Rann moved all-in.

Dimsa raised to 100,000 next and Rann three-bet on the button to claim the next pot.

Antoine Saout Eliminated in 9th Place (£11,028)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

In the very first hand on the final table, Antoine Saout open-jammed in the cutoff for the last 640,000 and was instantly called by Rickie Vedhara in the big blind.

Antoine Saout: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Rickie Vedhara: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop and {9-Hearts} turn had some counterfeit potential but the {q-Hearts} river gave Vedhara the full house and sent Saout to the rail in 9th place for £11,028.
