Eliminations Before Dinner

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Saout Eliminated by Slater

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Antoine Saout
Antoine Saout

In a battle button versus small blind, Antoine Saout shipped it in for what appeared to be 32,000 on the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} turn. He only needed to get through Tim Slater and the latter took some 30 seconds to make the call.

Antoine Saout: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Tim Slater: {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}

"Really?" a rather irritated Saout said after he was seemingly suspecting a slow-roll. There was no chop after the blank {k-Spades} river and Saout headed out of the tournament area once more.

Short Stack Double for Kehoe

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Down to the last 9,600, Stephen Kehoe jammed on the button and got through the small blind. However, the big blind called and Kehoe tabled the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. He was up against {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and neither player connected on the {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board the keep ace-high in the lead.

Table chip leader is Brandon Nguyen with more than two times the average.

Lehr Felts Xu in a Flip

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The chips of Hongting Xu were in the middle before the flop and he was flipping with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. His opponent was Keith Lehr, who tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop gave Lehr the lead, who then improved on the {q-Spades} turn and {q-Hearts} river to deal the final blow with a full house.

Worley-Roberts Eliminated by Stepa

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Deborah Worley-Roberts
Deborah Worley-Roberts

Michal Stepa won a pot against Joe Laming without showdown and then called the preflop all-in by Deborah Worley-Roberts alongside one other player. Stepa bet the {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop for 2,800 and isolated successfully.

Deborah Worley-Roberts: {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Michal Stepa: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {7-Hearts} turn gave Stepa a draw on top of the live cards but got there with the {8-Spades} river instead.

Argelazi Scores Two Knockouts

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Eliran Argelazi
Eliran Argelazi

Antoine Saout was flipping with the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} against the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} of Eliran Argelazi. The {k-}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop improved Saout but the {10-Hearts} turn and {q-Hearts} river delivered a four card flush on the board to improve Argelazi.

Shortly after, Endrit Geci shipped it in after the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs} turn with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut flush draw. Argelazi looked him up with the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and that held thanks to the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Sitbon Busts Schwaederle; Doubles Luu

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Julien Sitbon raised to 1,800 from under the gun and Cedric Schwaederle three-bet to 7,000 in the small blind. Sitbon then made it 16,800 to go and Schwaederle shipped it in for what appeared to be 43,000 and was snapped off by Sitbon.

Cedric Schwaederle: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Julien Sitbon: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the aces held.

That also applied shortly after when Kin Luu got it in preflop for 15,500 with {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} versus {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. The {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board kept aces ahead all the way.
