Saout Jams Into Whitenstall

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alex Whitenstall raised to 70,000 out of the small blind and Antoine Saout came along to see the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Whitenstall now opted to check-call for 80,000 and then did so again for 115,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn.

After the {5-Clubs} river, Whitenstall checked once more and Saout then moved all-in with the covering stack. Whitenstall had some 380,000 behind and reluctantly folded.

Sitbon Leaves Sidhu Short

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Julien Sitbon defended the big blind against a raise to 40,000 by Kully Sidhu and check-called a bet on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. He opted to check again the {5-Clubs} turn and Sidhu now made it 110,000 to go, earning yet another call by Sitbon.

Both players knuckled the {a-Spades} on the river and Sitbon's {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for trips aces won the pot.

Trotter Doubles Didenka; Doubles Through Ramiro

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Liudas Didenka got it in from an early position for the last 235,000 and Paul Trotter did so as well, sending all other players out of the way.

Liudas Didenka: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Paul Trotter: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The dominated pair found no equity on the {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board and Trotter was left with seven and a half blinds.

These went in via three-bet shove right after and Michael Ramiro called.

Paul Trotter: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Michael Ramiro: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The next premium pair for the player at risk came out on top on the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} board for Trotter to double right back.

Raul Lozano Eliminated in 23rd Place (£3,895)

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Raul Lozano
Raul Lozano

Raul Lozano had returned from the break as the shortest stack and pushed all-in for 250,000 from an early position. Robert Boon moved all-in over the top and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Raul Lozano: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Robert Boon: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

No paint card appeared on the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop and the {5-Spades} turn opened some split opportunities with a potential straight on the board. However, the {q-Diamonds} river changed nothing whatsoever and Lozano was eliminated in 23rd place for £3,895.

Speranzoni Wins Last Hand Before the Break

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

In the final hand before the break, Ben Slack was involved in a three-way pot in which he was in the big blind and had 100,000 invested. The initial raiser Lukas Dimsa in the cutoff and Alberto Speranzoni on the button came along and the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop was checked to Speranzoni. He bet 95,000 and earned two folds.

"Show the bluff," the demand came and Speranzoni revealed the {j-Hearts} to rake in the pot.

Benjamin Lehrer Eliminated in 24th Place (£3,387)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Benjamin Lehrer - Joshua Boulton
Benjamin Lehrer - Joshua Boulton

The action started with a button raise by Benjamin Lehrer and Joshua Boulton three-bet the small blind for Lehrer to call. As they headed to the {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Boulton continued for 80,000 and Lehrer came along to the {7-Spades} turn.

Boulton now checked and Lehrer bet 125,000 with the effective stack. The check-shove by Boulton for 685,000 followed and Lehrer gave it some 20 seconds before making the call.

Benjamin Lehrer: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Joshua Boulton: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The wheel draw and nut flush draw of Boulton had plenty of outs and one of them came on the {10-Spades} river to eliminate Lehrer in 24th place for £3,387.

Whitenstall Takes From Speranzoni

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Alex Whitenstall raised to 32,000 and Alberto Speranzino defended out of the big blind. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop brought a small continuation bet which Speranzino check-called and they checked the {5-Spades} on the turn. Speranzino bet the {j-Diamonds} river for 160,000 and Whitenstall snap-called to reveal his {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} already.

Speranzino as the last aggressor mucked and the pot was shipped to Whitenstall.
