Ferreira Pais Eliminated by Hao

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Mauricio Ferreira Pais
Mauricio Ferreira Pais

Dongze Hao had been moved tables to balance the field and the very first active hand saw him involved in three-way action.

Alexios Zervos raised in the cutoff for Hao in the small blind and Mauricio Ferreira Pais in the big blind to call. Ferreira Pais check-raised Zervos' continuation bet on the {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and Hao was the only caller.

The {5-Diamonds} turn brought the check by Hao and the shove by Ferreira Pais for around 400,000, which resulted in a snap-call by Hao.

Mauricio Ferreira Pais: {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Donze Hao: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

Ferreira Pais needed a six or seven so avoid the elimination but the {q-Clubs} river sent him to the rail in 25th place.

Doshi Eliminated by Ramiro

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Julien Sitbon and Ben Slack took over control and the largest stacks on table four but the one responsible for the elimination of Paresh Doshi was Michael Ramiro.

Down to around 235,000, Doshi got it in with the dominated {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} as Ramiro flipped over {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

"I gonna make the eight," Sitbon joked in table chat, having mentioned to have folded pocket eights. That wasn't the case on the {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} board and Doshi found no help to become the 26th place finisher.

Solomons Flipped Out by Dimsa

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Gary Solomons
Gary Solomons

Gary Solomons had been hovering on a short stack for an extended period and he ultimately jammed the cutoff for around 134,000. Lukas Dimsa flat-called on the button and the blinds got out of the way.

Gary Solomons: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Lukas Dimsa: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop kept Solomons in the lead but the {10-Diamonds} turn reduced his outs to all but one, as Dimsa held the flush draw on top of his superior pair. There was no miracle on the {j-Hearts} river and Solomons had to settle for 27th place.

Sidhu Beats Hecklen in Showdown

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kully Sidhu defended his big blind against a button raise by Henrik Hecklen and check-called the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} turn when Hecklen made it 87,000 to go. Sidhu checked again the {7-Diamonds} on the river and Hecklen instantly checked it back to muck when he was shown the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a straight.

Hao Pays Off Lehrer

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Dongze Hao in the big blind and Benjamin Lehrer in an early position, the completed board showed {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Hao checked his option and then paid off a bet worth 140,000 by Lehrer to get shown the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a full house by the Frenchman.

Hao mucked and Lehrer pulled ahead of his opponent on the leaderboard.

Wilson Eliminated by Saout

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Andy Wilson
Andy Wilson

Antoine Saout opened to 35,000 on the button and then looked up the three-bet shove by Andy Wilson for what appeared to be 241,000.

Andy Wilson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Antoine Saout: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Wilson was ahead but that all changed on the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop as Saout improved to aces and nines. The {6-Hearts} turn was of no help to Wilson and another blank followed with the {3-Clubs} o the river.

Whitenstall Takes From Rann

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, James Rann bet 70,000 out of the big blind and Alex Whitenstall called on the button. Rann then checked the {8-Diamonds} on the river and Whitenstall bet 150,000 to force a snap-fold from Rann.

Clark Eliminated by Pruteanu

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jonathan Clark raised from under the gun and called a three-bet by Sorin Pruteanu from two seats over. They headed to the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop on which Clark checked. Pruteanu bet 80,000 and then instantly called the check-shove by Clark for what appeared to be just under 260,000.

Jonathan Clark: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Sorin Pruteanu: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

"I am out of choices," Clark had said when the cards were exposed and he had a big combo draw with the gutshot and nut flush draw. The {9-Spades} turn added some more outs but he missed them all on the {7-Spades} river.
