Hasson Halted by Speranzoni

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ori Hasson
Ori Hasson

Alberto Speranzoni raised it up from under the gun and Ori Hasson defended the big blind. Following the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop, Hasson check-called a small bet and the {q-Hearts} followed on the turn. Hasson checked again and Speranzoni bet 70,000.

The check-shove of Hasson followed for 189,000 and Speranzoni asked for a count before making the call with the slightly superior stack.

Ori Hasson: {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Alberto Speranzoni: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The live card and gutshot got there when the {k-Clubs} struck on the river, sending Hasson to the rail in 30th place.

Saout Rovers Losses Against Ferreira Pais; Doubles Boon

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Antoine Saout lost several pots but he made all up for that after winning yet another big pot against Mauricio Ferreira Pais. In a battle small versus cutoff, Ferreira Pais had defended and then opted to check-call a bet worth 20,000 on the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Spades} flop.

The {q-Spades} turn was checked by him once more and Saout bet 63,000 to earn a check-call. After the {2-Hearts} river, Ferreira Pais checked the third street in a row and Saout fired a bet worth 277,000. That sent his opponent into the tank for nearly two minutes and the call then followed.

Saout rolled over the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a full house and that won the large pot.

Robert Boon then raised and four-bet jammed for 295,000 to get called by Saout in a heartbeat.

Robert Boon: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Antoine Saout: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and {3-Diamonds} turn were blanks but the {k-Spades} river was not, as Boon doubled once more.

Sidhu Buils Stack With Aggression

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The initial madness after the return from the dinner break has somewhat slowed down and Kully Sidhu appears to be in the zone. He just faced an open raise to 25,000 by Dongze Hao and the call of Joshua Boulton. Sidhu then clicked it up to 85,000 and forced two quick folds.

Simmons Falls to Zeligman

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexander Zeligman opened the action with a cutoff raise to 25,000 and he then called a shove by Paul Simmons from the small blind for what appeared to be 176,000.

Paul Simmons: {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Alexander Zeligman: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop all but sealed the fate of Simmons, who then spiked some outs on the {2-Hearts} turn with the wheel draw. What followed was the {8-Spades} river and the field was reduced to the final 30 hopefuls.

Speranzoni Felts Eminoglu

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Yucel Eminoglu
Yucel Eminoglu

Following an open raise by Alberto Speranzoni, it was the table short stack Yucel Eminoglu who three-bet jammed for 106,000 out of the small blind and Speranzoni instantly called.

Yucel Eminoglu: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Alberto Speranzoni: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

The "Mad Turk" asked for plenty of high cards but the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop gave Speranzoni a set. However, the {10-Spades} turn provided a huge double draw. The escape was not meant to be as a blank {a-Clubs} river followed to knock Eminoglu out in 32nd place.

The action started with a raise to 25,000 by Julien Sitbon and Naaman Morris moved all-in for 108,000 in the small blind. Alberto Speranzoni gave it some thought in the big blind and folded, Sitbon called.

Naaman Morris: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Clark and Lozano Double

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jonathan Clark was all-in for a short stack of just 135,000 with the {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} and his previous nemesis Ori Hasson looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. The {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop gave Clark a full house, which held on the {4-Hearts} turn and {10-Spades} river.

Ben Slack then raised to 25,000 and Raul Lozano jammed it in for just un der 170,000. Naaman Morris also pushed with more chips from one seat over and Slack eventually folded.

Raul Lozano: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Naaman Morris: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board gave Lozano the winning flush and Morris was left short.
