Docherty Doubles Through Big Stack Lesniewski
Level 29
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Action folded around to Marcin Lesniewski, who raised to 250,000 from the small blind. David Docherty called in the big blind.
The flop came 2♥J♣K♦. Lesniewski bet 200,000, which Docherty called. The turn was the A♥. Lesniewski bet out 600,000 and Docherty again made the call.
The river was the 9♥ and Lesniewski pushed all in. Docherty started talking himself through the hand, which is becoming a bit of a signature for him when he has a tough spot. He decided to make the call for his remaining 2,440,000 chips.
Lesniewski showed A♦Q♠ for a pair of aces. Docherty showed A♣J♥ for two pair, aces and jacks. He doubled up and brought himself back into contention.
