Andrian Chips Up Through Lesniewski to Take Lead
Level 30
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Simone Andrian raised to 200,000 from the button and was called by Marcin Lesniewski in the big blind.
The flop came 5♠K♠3♦. Lesniewski checked and Andrian bet 225,000. Lesniewski came in with a raise to 600,000 and Andrian called.
The turn was the 2♥ and Lesniewski bet out 800,000, which Andrian called a second time.
The river came the K♦ and Lesniewski fired again, this time for 2,000,000 chips. Andrian again made the call. Lesniewski showed 7♥6♦ for a bluff and Andrian flipped over A♦4♦ for a straight.
It was a potentially game changing pot that changed the dynamic of the tournament. Moments before, Lesniewski had a dominant chip lead. Andrian pulled it back to get in front and now has a marginal lead.
