Mats Rosen called on the button, Hong Pham completed the small blind and Angelos Nastos-Megas raised to 3,200 from the big blind. Rosen and Pham both called.
The flop came 10♣K♠5♦. Pham checked and Nastos-Megas bet 3,500. Rosen folded and Pham called.
The turn was the A♥. Pham checked again and Nastos-Megas bet 8,700. Pham once again made the call.
The river came the J♦. Pham checked and Nastos-Megas sized down to 3,500. Pham pondered the decision before shaking her head and mucking her hand. Nastos-Megas scooped the pot.
Bojidar Boiadjiev raised to 2,000 from middle position and picked up three callers before Colin Macandrew moved all in from the big blind for 19,300. Boiadjiev moved all in over the top for 30,000 and the rest of the table folded, leaving two players to flip their cards.

The board ran out 2♦K♠Q♣5♣Q♥. Macandrew had pocket tens. Boiadjiev made two pair on the flop and a full house on the river. He won the pot and Macandrew was eliminated.
Colin Macandrew raised to 1,300 from the button, Olav Grindberg called in the small blind and Bojidar Boiadjiev reraised to 6,500 from the big blind. Macandrew folded and Grindberg called.
The flop came 5♥6♥8♣. Grindberg checked and Boiadjiev bet 20,000, putting Grindberg all in. Grindberg made the call and players flipped their cards.

Grindberg had a straight draw with his pocket sevens and Boiadjiev had a flush draw and overcards.
The turn came the 7♦ and the river was the 6♣. Grindberg improved to a set on the turn and made a full house on the river to win the pot and double up his stack.
Lawrence Bury raised from early position and Farid Fawzi called. Matthew Wakeman reraised to 3,500 and Denys Vaskovets called before Fawzi four-bet to 12,000. Only Vaskovets made the call and two players went to the flop.
The flop fell 2♥6♦9♣. Fawzi quickly shoved all in and Vaskovets snap called. Players fipped their cards.

The turn came the 10♦ and the river was the 3♥. Vaskovets held with his pocket aces and Fawzi was eliminated from the tournament. Vaskovets chipped up to over 100,000.
Three players were all in preflop. Olav Grindberg was all in from the big blind with the shortest stack, Colin Macandrew was all in from the small blind with a few more chips and Jorge Ramella had both players covered as he made the call.

The board ran out 6♦3♥9♦J♣9♥. Grindberg hit trip nines to win the hand and triple up his stack. Macandrew, meanwhile, won the side pot with his pocket kings and the nines on board.
Tommy Channell raised from middle position, the player in the small blind called and Lawrence Bury three-bet to 2,200 from the big blind. Channell called and the small blind folded.
The flop came K♣9♥3♣. Bury bet out 1,600 and Channell called. The turn came the 10♠. Bury led again, this time for 2,100, and Channell called.
The river fell the J♥. Bury bet out for 5,200 and Channell called. Channell showed A♣K♠ for a pair of kings. Bury showed A♥Q♣ for a rivered straight.
"I knew it!", said Channell as Bury scooped the pot.
The PokerStars UKIPT has returned to London, this year running at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. The Main Event continues today with Day 1b, the second of three starting flights, kicking off at 12 p.m. local time.
Entrants will start the tournament with a stack of 30,000 chips and blind levels will run for 40 minutes, with regular breaks throughout the day. Blinds start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante.
Players can take a maximum of three entries per flight, with late registration open until the start of Level 11. All starting flights will play down to 15 percent of the field. Those who survive will make it through to Day 2 and into the money.
Day 1c also runs later today, starting at 7 p.m. local time. It will be a turbo flight and the last chance for players to make it through.
Kieran Davey of the UK finished yesterday's flight as chip leader with 718,000 chips. Football influencer and PokerStars ambassador Adam McKola also bagged for Day 2.
The UKIPT London Main Event runs until Sunday night, at which point a new champion will be crowned.
