Early Showdown Win for Dobson

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Ben Dobson
Ben Dobson

With around 2,000 already in the middle on a board of 9374, Dmytro Stetsiura fired out a bet of 1,100, which Ben Dobson called in position.

A 2 hit the river and again Stetsiura made a bet, this time with a sizing of 1,500. Dobson wasted no time in calling.

Stetsiura quickly flipped Q9 for top pair, but Dobson had top pair with a better kicker holding A9 to take down the pot.

Eldarova Bet-Folds the River

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Aytan Eldarova
Aytan Eldarova

On a board of 82Q3 with around 2,500 chips in the pot, Aytan Eldarova fired a bet of 1,500, which got a call out of Darren Lalli.

A 3 on the river paired the board and brought in the front door flush draw, but it didn't deter Eldarova as she made another bet of 2,500. Lalli then nonchalantly tossed in raising chips and made it 7,500. Eldarova didn't need to think for too long before her cards were in the muck, and Lalli took the pot.

Jack Oliver

Yanwen Li opened to 300 and got a call from Darren Jarvis before Jack Oliver made it 1,500. Faizan Malooq cold-called, and both Li & Jarvis came along.

On the J58 flop, the action checked to Oliver, who fired 2,500. Only Malooq called to see the 6 on the turn, where Oliver dropped two blue chips into the pot, worth 5,000 each. After thinking it over, Malooq decided to give it up.

Mohammadi Puts in Half His Stack and Folds to Naso's Turn Shove

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Gholamreza Mohammadi
Gholamreza Mohammadi

Just as he was yesterday in Day 1c, Gholamreza Mohammadi is getting involved early on.

In the latest hand, there were around 5,000 chips in the middle when Jason Naso bet the turn on a board of J973, and Mohammadi made it 12,000. Naso then shoved for a little under 30,000, and Mohammadi went deep into the tank.

After thinking it over for quite some time, Mohammadi elected to lay it down and flashed the J to the table. Naso reciprocated and showed the A, which left Mohammadi wondering if he did make the right fold.
