Thomas Swain had 26,000 in front of him from the button and Tamer Kamel put in a big three-bet to 97,000 out of the big blind. Swain then four-balled all in for around 350,000, and Kamel snap-folded.
Despite that small setback, Kamel still has a mountain of chips with around 900,000 and is among the chip leaders.

Mark Holden from under the gun and opened and got his stack of around 150,000 into the middle preflop against Thang Nguyen on the button.

It was a tough situation for Holden to get out of, but he did pick up some outs as the 8♦8♠K♣ flop paired his king. However, there were no more kings in sight as the 2♦ turn and 9♣ river cemented Holden's place on the rail.
George Demetriou had ten-big-blind stack in the middle and was behind to the superior hand of Michael Casson.

Demetriou needed to find some help from the dealer, but it didn't look good on the 9♥10♦4♣ flop. When the 2♦ hit the turn, Demetriou vocalized what he wanted to see on the river.
"Diamonds!" shouted Demetriou.
However, it was to no avail, as the 6♣ completed the runout, which sent Demetriou to the rail.
Sonia Padovani was all-in for her stack of around 100,000 and had been put at risk by Tyler Green.

Padovani was in the lead and stayed there throughout the hand as the 6♣9♠3♣2♦Q♦ runout earned her a double-up, which also left Green short-stacked.
There were around 60,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 7♦5♠Q♥ when first-to-act Gary Fisher checked and Alex Montgomery fired 14,000 from the next seat. Jean-Emmanuel Lhuillier called in position, and Fisher also called.
All three checked the A♥ turn to the 6♥ river where Fisher led out for 44,000. Montgomery got out of the way, and Lhuillier went into the tank. After thinking it over for quite some time, Lhuillier eventually decided to fold, and Fisher took the pot.
"Next time just three-bet me and we can run it. I had a monster!" said Montgomery to Lhuillier.
