Ace in the Window Helps Constantinou to Double

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andreas Constantinou opened to 13,000 from the hijack and Philip Joyce shoved from the button with a covering stack. Once the blinds folded, Constantinou thought it over before he decided to call off his stack of 104,000.

Andreas Constantinou: AQ All in
Philip Joyce: 99

An A in the window was good news for Constantinou, and the K7 next to it kept him happy. Nothing changed on either the 10 turn or J river, which meant he doubled up through Joyce.

Montgomery Wins a Flip

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alex Montgomery opened to 10,000 from middle position and Edward Quinn three-bet the small blind to 40,000. When the action got back to Montgomery, he shoved for 110,000, and Quinn called.

Alex Montgomery: AJ All in
Edward Quinn: 88

It was a fair flip that favored Quinn after the Q79 flop. However, Montgomery took the lead on the J turn, which also gave Quinn a gutshot straight draw. The 3 river didn't change anything, and Montgomery earned himself a double-up.

Jones Cracks Hutupasu's Cowboys

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Richard Jones
Richard Jones

Richard Jones had opened and been called by Nathan Watson before Marius Hutupasu squeezed to 41,000. When the action got back to Jones, he put in a four-bet to just under 100,000, which got Watson out of the way. Hutupasu then shoved for around 150,000, and Jones quickly called.

Marius Hutupasu: KK All in
Richard Jones: AK

Hutupasu was a favorite to double up, but that soon became an unlikely scenario as the 6A7 flop gave Jones top pair. The future looked bleak for Hutupasu, and he couldn't find his one-outer as neither the 8 turn nor 7 river were the case king he was looking for.

Ashraf Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Waheed Ashraf
Waheed Ashraf

Marvis Cooper had opened from under the gun and both Waheed Ashraf & Arkadiusz Sieracki called from the blinds.

On a flop of 69K, both blinds checked to Cooper, who fired out 10,000. Ashraf then shoved for around 90,000, and Sieracki committed his stack of around 100,000 behind. Cooper was in the tank for a while and after mulling it over, he decided to call.

Waheed Ashraf: KQ All in
Arkadiusz Sieracki: 66 All in
Marvis Cooper: KQ

Sieracki was in dreamland as his set was a gigantic favorite to take down the pot and triple up. Cooper and Ashraf's best shot were their backdoor flush draws, but the hand was all over when the 7 hit the turn. A meaningless 4 fell on the river, and Ashraf made his way to the exit while Sieracki added a chunk of chips to his stack.

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

That means that the latest that play will end will be just after 1 a.m.

Woodhead Sent for an Early Shower

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

There were already around 70,000 chips in the pot on a board of K752 when Philip Joyce fired out 30,000 on the turn. Stephen Woodhead responded with a shove for around 100,000, and Joyce snap-called.

Stephen Woodhead: KQ All in
Philip Joyce: 22

Woodhead was drawing dead as Joyce had turned a set of deuces. The meaningless 6 filled out the board, and Woodhead was sent on his way with a min-cash.
