Ian Cordts Next to Fall

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Having just contemplated shoving with the previous hand, Ian Cordts found a hand he liked a bit better and the “All-in” triangle was pushed his way as he pushed his last 10,000 over the line.

Jake Cody was in the small blind, still getting a massage, and he too went all-in. The big blind folded.

“Please be flipping,” cried Cordts showing his {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

No flip. Cody showed {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Cordts was a 4-to-1 dog.

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Cody scooped the pot while Cordts, who was the only player to re-enter this tournament, exited for a second time.

Meanwhile, Mick Graydon was also eliminated from the tournament.

Dinneen Blinding Away While Playing Irish Poker Championship Final

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Trevor Dinneen hasn't been in his seat in quite some time and slowly but surely his stack is being whittled away. He has good reason for being gone though as he is currently squaring off against Steve O'Dwyer in the Irish Poker Championship.

That event, which saw 52 players pay the €2,300 + €200 buy-in to create a prize pool of €119,600, is down to just two. O'Dwyer entered with a 2-1 chip lead, which means Dinneen will face an uphill battle if he hopes to capture the €39,450 first-place prize. The runner up will take home €27,840.

Kreftwork

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Charlie Combes opened from late position and quickly called when Marcin Kreft moved all in from the button for around 10,000.

Combes: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Kreft: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}, Kreft flopped a set and Combes flopped a gutshot but the {10-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Hearts} river changed nothing and Kreft doubled up.

Prize Pool & Payout Information

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

The officials numbers are in. The Full Tilt Poker UKIPT Galway High Roller has draw 35 players, one of who re-entered, to make it 36 entries and a prize pool of €69,840. That will be paid to the top six finishers as follows:

PlacePrize
1st€24,450
2nd€17,460
3rd€11,870
4th€6,980
5th€4,890
6th€4,190

Sidhu Eliminated

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Kujinder Sidhu was all in for his last 15,000, Charlie Combes was the caller.

Sidhu: {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Combes: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Flop: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Well, that killed the tension.

Running twos in the {2-Spades} and the {2-Clubs} changed nothing and we're down to 13 players.

Dinneen Defeats O'Dwyer in Irish Poker Championship

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

It's been quiet here in the High Roller the past ten minutes, and that's alright because all the excitement is over at the feature table where Trevor Dinneen, who has been being blinded out of this event, just defeated well-known poker pro Steve O'Dwyer to win the Irish Poker Championship.

That event drew 52 players pay the €2,300 + €200 buy-in and created a prize pool of €119,600. Of that Dinneen will take home €39,450 for his victory while O'Dwyer will have to settle for a €27,840 consolation prize.

William Ranulf Dorey and Sandro Taddei Eliminated

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

William Dorey shoved the last of his chips in with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and was called by Chris Day with {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} and it was all over for Dorey while the chips just kept sliding over to Day.

While this was happening, Sandro Taddei was eliminated on the next table but the dealer had scooped everything up by the time we got there.
