Plomp Doubles on the Feature Table

Gordon Plomp three-bet shoved for 201,000 from the button and initial raiser Alexander Beeckx called with the {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Plomp was in excellent shape with his {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and doubled up after the board ran out {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Herman Takes it on the Turn

Marco Herman faced a raise to 42,000 by Laurens de Smet and three-bet to 85,000 from the button. De Smet called and the flop came {2-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Both players checked and de Smet then checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn. Herman bet 100,000 and de Smet quickly folded with a "that's a bad card" on his lips.

Niko Koop

Chip leader Alexander Beeckx opened and then faced the three-bet of Niko Koop for 115,000 to see a flop of {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Both players checked and Koop also checked the {5-Diamonds} turn.

Beeckx over-shoved and Koop called rather quickly for around 420,000 to immediately sigh when spotting the hand of his opponent.

Beeckx: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Koop: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds} river was a blank and that sent Koop to the rail in 13th place. Beeckx recovered the losses of earlier and extended his lead once again.

Small Pot for Sybrandi

Hans Sybrandi raised to 34,000 and Mateusz Moolhuizen called in the big blind to check the flop {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Sybrandi fired a bet of 45,000 and that shut down all further action.

David Janssen open-shoved for 197,000 from under the gun and Hans Sybrandi, who had been moved to the secondary table, called from the button.

Janssen: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Sybrandi: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Janssen took the lead on the flop {8-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and the {8-Diamonds} turn was a blank as well, but his fortune was short-lived as the {J-Diamonds} hit on the river to give Sybrandi a straight.

Dingenen Shoves; de Smet Beats Moolhuizen

Mateusz Moolhuizen raised to 38,000 and then folded to a shove of Tom Dingenen on the button.

Shortly after, Moolhuizen raised to 40,000 and Laurens de Smet defended his big blind. On the flop {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, both players checked. De Smet then bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 58,000 and was called before the {2-Hearts} on the river saw a second barrel of the Belgian for 141,000. This time Moolhuizen folded and de Smet continued his early rise.

De Smet on the Rise

Mateusz Moolhuizen raised to 35,000 from under the gun and Micael Emanuelsson three-bet to 105,000 from the button. The Dutchman folded and then grinned "show the bluff." Emanuelsson laughed back and said a simple "no."

David Janssen folded the small blind and showed the {2-Clubs} and the next hand Laurens de Smet won the blinds and antes with a raise to 34,000. The next hand saw Emanuelsson open to 34,000 and de Smet three-bet to 86,000. The Swede called and check-folded the flop {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to a continuation bet worth 92,000.

De Smet: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Simpson: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} and Simpson headed to the rail in 15th place for a payday of €4,141.

Moolhuizen Jams Against Simpson

Ian Simpson raised from early position and Mateusz Moolhuizen called in the small blind. Both players checked the flop {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and then Moolhuizen check-called a delayed continuation bet worth 50,000 on the {K-Clubs} turn. Moolhuizen also checked the {7-Hearts} river and Simpson bet 95,000.

Moolhuizen check-raised all in and the Brit was stunned. "Straight? Pocket sevens?" he asked without getting an answer. He then slid his cards into the muck with the words "nice hand" and fell to the bottom of the overall counts.
