Half Stack for Volodina

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

Alina Volodina bet 2,000 on the river of a ten-high board with {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and quickly called a raise to 7,000 by Leonardo Armino, who then turned over {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a straight to claim the pot. Volodina fell back to half the starting stack while Ian Simpson has not been as active on the table anymore either.

Grafton Not Connected

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

Sam Grafton was complaining about the lack of proper internet, as he was not connected to the Twitter universe in order to entertain his followers. In the tournament itself, not much has been going the way of the Brit yet either. He just called a raise to 900 with the player in the cutoff also coming along.

On the flop {6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, the action was checked to Aleksander Kalinowski and the Pole took down the pot with a bet of 2,000. Grafton fell down to about half the starting stack.

Verbon Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

Mihai Buzamat raised to 900 and Bert Stevens called to see Tim Verbon raise to 2,600. Both his opponents called to see the flop {9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The action was checked to Verbon and he continued for 3,300, which only Buzamat called. On the {2-Clubs} turn it was 6,600 by Verbon and this time Buzamat folded.

While Verbon moved up to just more than starting stack, Zsolt Zanati and Cornelis de Jong have almost double the stack after less than four levels on tables nearby.

Simpson and Marillaud are Trying

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

Jessy Marillaud has been winning a lot of small pots without all in showdown to more than double up his stack. And Ian Simpson, who got value out of pocket jacks on three streets, has also been trying his utmost to build up an even bigger stack. The result so far is quite impressive with three times the starting stack.

Massaud Busts in Cruel Fashion

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

After the heads-up flop of {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Luc Simons and Dalil Massaud got their stacks in the middle and the former was at risk with pocket jacks. Simons held the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and the {J-Clubs} appeared on the turn. However, the fortune of Massaud was short-lived, as the {K-Clubs} followed on the river and caused some gasps by the other players on the table.

Karlsson Runs Into Flush

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

Kenneth Verheecke opened to 800 and one opponent min-clicked to 1,350 to see Jakob Karlsson in the big blind as well as Verheecke call. All players checked the {5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and Karlsson then led the {3-Spades} turn for 2,400. Only Verheecke called and the {K-Hearts} river filled up the board.

Karlsson fired 4,500 and eventually called the raise to 11,700 by Verheecke to get shown {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for the nut flush.

"Thank you Lady"

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

On the table of Johan Verhagen, who appears to be one of the biggest stacks, Arne Coulier had two smaller stacks at risk with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Hugo Borst was having the worst odds with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} while Tamaico Boers held the {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} and the board on the straight gave all three opponents an even chop. Borst politely glanced over to the dealer and said "thank you lady."

Baltaci Busts to Vergeer

Level 4 : 200/400, 75 ante

In the last hand of the level, which lasted a few minutes into the break, Paul Vergeer had opened 1,000 from under the gun. Andrew Gillet called and then Firat Baltaci three-bet to 3,800 out of the big blind. Vergeer four-bet to 8,500 and Gillet folded, Baltaci jammed and was snap-called.

It was the usual setup in the battle of the Dutchmen with pocket kings for Baltaci and pocket aces for Vergeer, to see the latter emerge victorious.
