Sebastian Mortelmans, Maarten Verhaegen and Raoul Refos have been eliminated. Refos lost a flip with against pocket eights and only 42 players remain with the top 36 spots getting cash rewards.
Matthias de Clercq was the last casualty of the previous level, who busted on the feature table. The line-up has since changed and now contains Ian Simpson and Mateusz Moolhuizen.
Four levels have been done and dusted, the field has been reduced from 100 to only 47 hopefuls. All players have been sent into a 20-minute break and the T-500 chips will now be raced off. One of the participants busted in the last hand over on the feature table.
Mateusz Moolhuizen raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and Ian Simpson three-bet to 35,500 from the small blind, which Moolhuizen called. On the flop , Simpson continued for 40,000 and was called before firing another 62,000 on the turn. Moolhuizen didn't go anywhere and tossed in the chips before moving all in after Simpson had checked the river. The Brit snap-folded.
Soon after, he jumped into a hand with Thomas Lust and check-called a bet of 30,500 on the flop . The turn was checked through and Simpson then took down the pot with a bet of 55,000 on the river.
Niels de Wijs turned a straight with but Marco Herman rivered a flush with to get some value over on table two. Shortly after, Niko Koop also won a bigger pot and increased his stack nicely. The start-of-the-day chip leader has been riding a roller coaster thus far and it unclear where it may end.
Hans Sybrandi won two small pots against Robin Lacey and Matija Bicanic while Patrick Aerts hit the rail on another table. Then, Lacey got some chips back from Bicanic by betting the flop for 13,500 and receiving a call. The second barrel worth 20,000 on the turn did the trick though, as Bicanic folded.
New at the table is Hakan Wingskog, who got moved a few minutes ago and had far less chips than on his previous table.
On the feature table, Matthias de Clercq fired a bet of 19,000 on the flop and was called by Claes Ruben Hellberg. The came on the turn and now the Belgian made it 50,000 to go before calling the shove of his opponent for 96,000.
Hellberg:
De Clercq:
The river was already meaningless and de Clercq lost a big portion of his stack.
On the turn, Mateusz Moolhuizen checked from the hijack and Ian Simpson bet 37,500. Moolhuizen called and they then checked the on the river. Moolhuizen announced an ace-high and Simpson flipped over to win the pot and increase his lead.
