Ene Sends Stack to Heath

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Eli Heath raised and found one caller in Marius Ene out of the small blind. The flop came {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Ene checked, Heath bet 8,500 and Ene then check-raised all in for around 49,000. Heath eventually called and the cards were turned over.

Marius Ene: {Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Eli Heath: {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}

The {Q-Clubs} turn gave Ene top pair, but also improved Heath to a straight. A blank {A-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Ene joined the rail.

Norel Takes from Haeggblom

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

After losing a pot to Eli Heath, Eduard Norel limped in from the small blind and Anton Haeggblom raised to 6,500 in the big blind. Norel called and check-called a bet of 8,500 on the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop before doing so again on the {10-Clubs} turn for 17,000.

After the {4-Hearts} river, Norel then bet 28,000 and Haeggblom folded with the words "I would have called if you made it 20,000, but 8,000 more ..." and Norel just chuckled "if you would have said something."

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Gerret van Lancker was eliminated at the end of the previous level also and Christos Xanthopoulos followed to the rail right after Woodhead.

Linden Sends Kukuv to the Rail

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Just over 80 players remain towards the end of level 10 and Catalin Kukuv has become the latest casualty. After a limp, Jakob Linden raised and Kukuv shoved out of the big blind for around 40,000. The limper folded and Linden called.

Catalin Kukuv: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Jakob Linden: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and the {3-Clubs} turn changed nothing, but the {A-Clubs} on the river improved Linden to aces and treys to eliminate Kukuv. Also out: Tomasz Kozub, Teodor Cap Bun and Bogdan Spataru. Cap Bun had shoved three times in quick succession and got through twice before then joining the rail.

Guiodo Wins One; Loses Another

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Anti Reinthal raised to 6,100 and picked up three callers including Tristan Reinthal in the cutoff. On the flop of {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} action checked to Dan Alexandru Nistor and he bet 5,100 on the button. Reinthal called, Jonathan Spencer folded and Guiodo then claimed the pot by check-raising to 35,000.

Reinthal shoved the next hand on a flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} to force a fold by an opponent with {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and showed {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, before Guiodo then lost a flip for almost one third of his stack.

Bank Finds a Double

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A preflop raising war saw Danut Marius Dinca squeeze to 18,100 before Gabor Bank then reraised all in for 41,500 from two seats over. Dinca called with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} only to see Bank turn over the dominating {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

The board came {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Bank doubled, much to the delight of Hungarian friends on the rail.

Stan Takes from Ghafoor

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A juicy pot emerged between Farook Ghafoor and Solomon Stan with the former betting the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} turn for 18,000. Stan called and the {6-Hearts} on the river then went check, check. Ghafoor showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for nines and sevens, while Stan had that beat with {10-Spades}{10-Spades} for the slightly better pocket pair.
