Cohen Remains in Control Despite Setback

Robert Vukovic opened to 250,000 with the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Marius Pertea called with the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. On the {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Pertea checked and Vukovic bet 175,000. Pertea check-raised to 500,000 and Vukovic folded to get shown the {10-Hearts}.

Vukovic's raise to 280,000 with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} was called by Cohen with {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} in the big blind and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Cohen checked and called a bet worth 180,000 to see the {5-Diamonds} on the turn, picking up an open-ended straight draw. Both players checked and the {10-Clubs} on the river, which was also checked by Cohen.

Vukovic bet 650,000 and called with the ace-high to drop some chips, but remains in control of the four-handed table and at the top of the counts.

Veza raised to 240,000 with the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Cohen called with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on the button. The flop of {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} brought a bet of 175,000 by Veza and Cohen called to see the {5-Spades} on the turn. There was no betting action and the {7-Hearts} appeared on the river.

Cohen bet 535,000 for half the pot when it was checked to him and Veza folded.

The {Q-Clubs} river was checked through and Cohen won the pot with his pair of fours.
