After 11 grueling hours, 13 players remain and will contest on Sunday for the title and the first prize of £71,950.

The 13 remaining players will be returning at noon local time in the following seating order:

The day started furiously right off the bat, with players taking risks to get themselves in prime position to go deep. One of those players was Mateusz Moolhuizen who saw a massive bluff go wrong when he ran into the stone cold nuts. Moolhuizen, a two-time champion at the Unibet Open, was one of the players to go home empty-handed early.

The last Unibet Ambassador remaining, Charlotte Van Brabander, got eliminated one off the bubble. Van Brabander was short stacked throughout the day and eventually succumbed with pocket tens versus ace-king.

The bubble phase lasted more than an hour, leaving Jan Naderzadeh as the unfortunate bubble boy. In the money, players such as Benjamin Pollak (58th), Rasmus Larsen (56th) and Jerome Brion (55th) got eliminated with a min cash with £1,700.

Near the end of the day, it was Foord-Brown who was slowly ran away from the pack. In a big hand, Foord-Brown got three streets of value with aces versus queens. During the last level of the day, he also took a big pot off Fabio Miranda with a flopped two pair. Besides the big hands, Foord-Brown kept winning coin flips left and right to claim the end of day chip lead.

The biggest Cinderella story of the day was the tale of Ioana Silvana. Silvana qualified by grinding an astonishing 1,200,000 points on Unibet, which got her a Challenge Package worth €2,000. Silvana, who's previous biggest cash was around €1,000, finished in 15th place. The graduated pharmacist parlayed her freeroll into a sweet payday of £4,900.

Kevin Allen became the last bust out of the day, as he fell in 14th place to Tamer Kamel. Allen was up with ace-four against pocket eights and couldn't find enough help on the board.

The remaining 13 players will return tomorrow at noon to contest for the title. Players will return in level 22 with blinds of 15,000-30,000 and a running ante of 5,000. The live stream will be shown with hole cards and will be on a delay. The PokerNews live reporting team will provide updates of the Main Event until a winner is crowned. Don't miss any of the action on Sunday as we crown our new champion here in London!

Ioana Silvana Eliminated in 15th Place (£4,900)

Francis Foord-Brown opened to 50,000 from middle position. Dejan Govedic three-bet to 140,000 from the hijack. In the cutoff, Ioana Silvana went in the tank and eventually shoved for 231,000. Foord-Brown folded and Govedic instantly called.

Ioana Silvana: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}
Dejan Govedic: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The graduated pharmacist, who received a €2,000 Challenge Package for this tournament by grinding 1,200,000 points on Unibet, was ahead after the {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. The {K-Clubs} on the turn flipped the tables on the last woman standing, and the {K-Diamonds} on the river was just to rub salt in the wounds.

Silvana, who's previous biggest cash was around €1,000, saw her incredible freeroll journey come to an end in 15th place, taking home €4,900 to Romania.

The chipleader at the end of Day 1a, Giulio Mascolo, saw his attempt at Unibet Open glory come to an end in 16th place. Mascolo was down to 180,000 but picked up {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} on the button and quickly went all in.

Francis Foord-Brown had {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} in the big blind and called the few extra blinds off. The board came down {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, knocking Mascolo out with Foord-Brown's rivered two pair.

Fabio Miranda opened to 42,000 from the hijack and Dejan Govedic called on the button. Martin Gallagher three-bet to 155,000 from the big blind and Miranda folded.

Govedic had different plans and shoved all in for 725,000. Gallagher snap-called it off to create the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Martin Gallagher: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Dejan Govedic: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The poker gods smiled on Govedic as he hit his ace in the window: {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Gallagher was left with 375,000 after the hand.

Jan Naderzadeh is the Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jan Naderzadeh
Jan Naderzadeh

Ultra short stack Jan Naderzadeh has bubbled the Unibet Open London. Naderzadeh actually lasted two hands, as he wasn't forced all in in the first one from the big blind. Naderzadeh opted to fold instead, leaving him with just 4,000.

In the next hand, Naderzadeh was automatically all-in from the small blind. Three players called to put the Brit at risk and quickly checked down {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Naderzadeh showed first and tabled {7-Spades}{4-Hearts} for sevens and jacks. The three other players respectively showed {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Marius Hutupasu with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. Hutupasu took it down with kings and jacks and Naderzadeh left with nothing.

Charlotte Van Brabander Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Charlotte Van Brabander
Charlotte Van Brabander

Two places before the money, the final Unibet Poker Ambassador has been eliminated from the tournament.

Down to ten big blinds, she shoved {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} all in from middle position. It was folded around to Maurice Schinkel in the big blind, who called with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and won the hand after the rundown favored the Dutchman: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

Van Brabander still has a positive weekend, as she won the Ambassadors Battle Royale on Wednesday night for the third time in a row, cashing £5,000.

Mateusz Moolhuizen Eliminated

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen, Winner of Unibet Antwerp 2015

We caught the tail end of a massive hand between Mateusz Moolhuizen and Vishal Maini, which left the two-time Unibet Open winner with nothing after the dust had settled.

According to Maini, the hand went as follows. Maini raised in early position and Moolhuizen defended his big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop, Moolhuizen checked, Maini bet 5,000 into a pot of 19,000 and Moolhuizen called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Moolhuizen checked again. Maini bet 15,000 and Moolhuizen check-raised to 45,000. The Brit smooth-called the raise in position.

On the {3-Spades} river, Moolhuizen thought for a while before shoving all in around 80,000. Maini snap-called and had Moolhuizen slightly covered.

Mateusz Moolhuizen: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Vishal Maini: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

It was a case of ill timing for Moolhuizen, who ran into the stone cold nuts. With the scalp, Maini skyrocketed to 290,000 and Moolhuizen quickly left the tournament area.

Hutchison Puts Van Brabander to the Test

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Charlotte Van Brabander
Charlotte Van Brabander

The last remaining Unibet Ambassador Charlotte Van Brabander opened to 5,500 from the hijack. Dean Hutchison three-bet to 12,500 on the button and Van Brabander called. The flop was {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Van Brabander check-called a 7,500 bet from the Scotsman.

The turn brought the {J-Diamonds} and now Van Brabander quickly led out with a bet of 16,500. Hutchison's action was fast-paced as well and he called. On the {5-Spades} river, Van Brabander checked and Hutchison quickly shipped in his remaining stack of 43,000.

It was a decision for nearly all of Van Brabander's remaining chips, but the Belgian couldn't find a call and folded after ten seconds.
