Jiang Busts Bean and Sejer

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante
Honglin Jiang
Honglin Jiang

Stephen Bean raised to 1,600 and was called by Peter Jaksland and Honglin Jiang. The small blind squeezed to 6,000 and folds followed all around the table.

Right after, Bean was all in for 6,100 and Jaksland called, as did Jiang. The flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} brought a bet of 4,000 by Jaksland and Jiang called. On the {J-Hearts} turn both players checked and Jaksland bet the {2-Clubs} river for 6,500. Jiang reluctantly called with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Jaksland was caught bluffing with the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, Bean departed with {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

It wouldn't take long for the next short stack to make a move, and Martin Sejer three-bet all in for 10,200. A third player was in the hand and Jiang tried to lure him in by asking for a count before calling, but that trap didn't snap.

Martin Sejer: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Honglin Jiang: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

"One time please," Sejer asked and his voice disappeared on the {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop. He could all but gasps "kings?" The {7-Spades} turn and {6-Clubs} river were of no help and Jiang sent the second player in a row to the rail.

Langfeldt Thriving

Level 5 : 300/600, 75 ante

On the former feature table, Nicolay Langfeldt has built a stack since returning from the break and just forced an expensive fold from table neighbor Toby Locke.

The board read {J-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Langfeldt check-raised from 7,500 to 21,000. Locke reluctantly folded with the words "I shouldn't fold" and never got to see the cards of his table neighbor. Other notables on that table include Yngve Steen,UnibetPoker.fr sponsored pro Alexandre Reard and UnibetPoker ambassador Daiva Byrne.

Another bigger stack is Julien Sitbon, who chipped up further since winning the big pot without showdown earlier.

Perrins Doubles Through Buzamat

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

While Morten Mortensen has seen his stack halved early on in the Club Room, Matt Perrins just scored a double at the end of level four.

On the {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades} turn, Mihai Buzamat bet 5,400 in the hijack and Perrins called on the button. The {10-Spades} river brought a check by Buzamat and Perrins shoved for his last 14,225. Buzamat called and mucked when Perrins showed the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a set.

More for the Ivgi's

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Kfir Ivgi inquired not long ago what the chip leader had as he had doubled his stack already and on the next round in the tournament area, he was sitting behind even more chips.

Catherine Ivgi also chipped up slightly as well. She bet the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades} turn for 1,100 out of the big blind and was called by one opponent, before the {5-Clubs} river saw her bet 2,600 and force a fold.

In the same tournament area, Benny Glaser just lost quite some chips when betting the {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} river for 5,000. His table neighbor called and Glaser showed {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair of sevens, which ended up second best to the {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} of the player from one seat over.

Laming Takes from Fisher

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the flop of {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, both Gary Fisher and Daniel laming invested 2,100 chips and headed to the {3-Diamonds} turn. Laming checked and Fisher bet 4,300 in the cutoff, Laming called.

The {J-Hearts} fell on the river and Laming checked once more. Fisher was somewhat uncertain what to do as he shook his head and checked behind, then showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} as last aggressor. Laming had that beat with the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Fisher nodded.

Wang Builds Stack

Level 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Quentin Lecomte won a big pot after a limped hand saw him improve to a full house with the four-deuce and the UnibetPoker.fr sponsored pro moved up to 55,000. Several other players are in that region as well including Hong Wang, who just put Rickard Larsson to the test.

With the completed board showing {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Wang shoved and Larsson eventually folded after more than two minutes with just 7,400 behind.
