A couple of hands later at the same table, four other players were involved in a hand with the board reading . First to act, Bart "DonBartos" Kuiper bet 1,900 and Deivus Rinkevicius made it 7,800 to his direct left.

For David Lappin, Unibet Ambassador and host of poker podcast The Chip Race, the Unibet Open Malta Main Event has become one to quickly forget. Down to 11,000, Lappin four-bet shoved into and didn't improve to end his bid in the third level of the day.

For Sabina Hiatullah, the Unibet Open Malta Main Event has come to an end in level 3. Hiatullah, a prominent face on the circuit a few years ago, has been inactive lately and hasn't cashed since 2016. It was none other than Mateusz Moolhuizen who was Hiatullah's executioner.
With already 20,000 in the pot, the board was reading and Hiatullah had checked to Moolhuizen on the button. The Dutchman thought for nearly two minutes before shoving all in for around 28,000.
It was effectively for Hiatullah's remaining stack of 20,550 and she smiled faintly. She then removed her headphones, took another good look, then slid in a call.
Sabina Hiatullah:
Mateusz Moolhuizen:
Hiatullah was drawing slim against Moolhuizen's bottom set and the river failed to bring a lifeline to the Italian.
"I hoped you were on a draw," the Italian said after. Moolhuizen nodded and named jack-nine of hearts as a possible hand he could play like this.
"Unlucky," he added as Hiatullah made her way out of the tournament area.
