Laugt Put in a Spot with Top Two

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Quentin Laugt
Quentin Laugt

Quentin Laugt AJ raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Belghiti Smail defended his big blind with 107.

Smail flopped a gutshot while Laugt had top pair as the two saw the J95 flop. Smail check-called a bet of 250,000 to bring in the 6 turn. The Moroccan picked up a flush draw and a double-gutter and he led out for 325,000. Laugt called.

The A river gave Bilghiti the flush, while also improving Laught to a no-good two pair. Smail sized up to 1,450,000 and Laugt called after several moments of thinking time.

Smail tabled his hand, and took in the first pot of the final table.

Hassan Atigh Eliminated in 9th Place (74,000 MAD)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Hassan Atigh
Hassan Atigh

Quentin Laugt raised from the button and called when Hassan Atigh shoved for 1,875,000 from the small blind.

Quentin Laugt: 88

Atigh got himself involved in another coin flip, and his chances reduced after the 997 flop. The 6 turn gave him additional outs to flush, which came in on the 9 river. However, this improved Laugt to a full house and Atigh was the first final table casualty.

Blili Still Building

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Ahmed Blili 88 raised to 250,000 from middle position. Steven Bohn 54 called from the big blind.

Blili remained ahead on the K32 flop, but Bohn had plenty of equity with his open-ender. The latter check-called for 150,000.

The 7 turn checked through to the 5 river, giving Bohn a pair for some showdown value. He checked and Blili fired out 650,000. Bohn laid his hand down and Blili crossed 10 million chips.

Habib Rachedi raised to 250,000 from early position and was called by Ahmed Blili and Quentin Laugt from the hijack and button. Steven Bohn jammed for 2,575,000 from the big blind to put the action back on Rachedi. He then rejammed which forced out the A2 and A8 that Blili and Laugt held.

Steven Bohn: QQAll in
Habib Rachedi: KK

Rachedi had the hand essentially won on the KJ7 flop, and it was confirmed on the 2 turn ahead of the 4 river.

Rachedi's Three-Bet is Enough

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Several hands have yet to see a flop with raise and takes getting the job done.

One for example was Tristan Forge raising with A10 from the cutoff. Habib Rachedi three-bet to 775,000 with AQ and folded out the table.

The J77 flop checked through to the A turn, giving Forge top two pair. He bet 625,000 and Rachedi called with his flush draw. Forge filled up on the J river, and sized up to 1,475,000. Rachedi snap-folded.
