There have been 75 entries recorded in the opening level, and two eliminations. Those to hit the rail early were Samy Grosso and Ci Fouad, but both have opted to reenter already.
Grosso returned to Table #11, and he was putting his new 50,000 starting stack to use straight away.
Houssam El Bassunie opened to 700 from middle position and was called by Dominique Franchi from the next seat over. Grosso made it 6,000 from the hijack and was called by Gary Fisher before El Bassunie and Franchi got out of the way.
Grosso made a huge overbet shove on the 7♥3♣2♠ flop, which put Fisher in a spot. The Brit was clearly confused by Grosso's line but in the end, he opted to let go of his hand.
