Omari and Cannetti Take Down Side Events
Several side events have now wrapped up at the 2025 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech, with two fresh champions joining the winner’s list.
Jeremie Canetti topped the UDSO 8-Max, collecting 38,000 MAD (€3,363) after defeating countryman Alexandre De Zutter heads-up. Sion Madar rounded out the podium with 15,000 MAD (€1,327).
Meanwhile, Morocco’s Achraf Omari came out on top in the UDSO Mini Main, banking 80,000 MAD (€7,083). Guillaume Darcourt had to settle for the runner-up spot yet again, his third silver medal of the series after also finishing second in the UDSO Cup and the Progressive Knock Out. Selim Boumlil finished third for 44,000 MAD (€3,896).
Earlier in the festival, Aurélie Reard took down the Warm-Up, while Gabriel Villar Montes and Jérémy Pasini captured the Cup and Progressive Knock Out titles respectively.
