River Saves Lopez's Aces

Manuel Lopez raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Malik Corbin defended his big blind.

Fireworks ignited on the Q♣6♥5♠ flop, with Corbin moving all-in after Lopez through out a continuation bet. Lopez had 2,400,000 total and quickly called for his tournament life.

Corbin flopped two pair to leapfrog the aces, and the final table looked destined to happen after the 7♣ turn. However, the Q♥ appeared on the river to give Lopez a better two pair to survive.
