2025 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech
"C18" raised to 1,300 from under the gun before Khalil Tazi three-bet to 4,000 from the next seat over. C18 put Tazi all-in for the 12,000 more he had behind, and the short-stack called for his tournament life.
Khalil Tazi: J♠J♣
C18: K♣K♥
C18 made top set on the K♠9♥7♦ flop, and secured the elimination after the A♠ turn. The 2♣ completed the board and C18 moved back over the 50,000 starting stack.
A four-bet pot brewed on Table #7 between "Bradley92" and "Bigicy", which put roughly 37,000 into the middle going to the 5♥2♦2♠ flop. Bigicy checked from the small blind and Bradley92 did the same from the button.
Bigicy then fired out 15,500 on the 10♥ turn and was called.
Bigicy, looking dejected, checked and Bradley92 checked back. The latter tabled J♠J♦, which was good for the pot.
Level: 4
Blinds: 200/500
Ante: 500
El Mehdi Mbarek opened to 1,000 from under the gun and was called by "Brelanciaga" from the hijack. Serge Reocreux three-bet to 3,000 from the button, and picked up a call from "Ronald", who was in the small blind. Mbarek and Brelanciaga also opted to call.
The Q♦4♦2♠ flop checked through to the A♣ turn. The action checked to Brelanciaga, and they fired out 7,000. Reocreux called, leaving around 23,000 behind.
Brelanciaga jammed as the bigger stack after the Q♣ river came in. Reocreux quickly called but his A♠K♠ was no good as Brelanciaga had a set of deuces with their 2♥2♣.
Guillaume Darcourt opened from the cutoff and called when "C18" three-bet from the small blind.
Darcourt called a bet of 4,000 on the 7♠2♠2♣ flop before folding to a bet of 7,000 on the 8♦ turn.
Also at the table is Alexandre Reard. The Unibet Poker ambassador has had a positive start, sitting on around 68,500.
Action was caught on the Q♠10♥9♥ flop, with Michael Dogliani all-in and at risk as a short stack. He was up against Hamza Lamzariki, who was on the button.
Michael Dogliani: A♣10♣
Hamza Lamzariki: Q♥7♦
Dogliani's middle pair was no good, and he was eliminated after the 4♣ turn and J♣ river.
Belghiti Smail is having a hot start to Day 1a, and is the current chip leader with around 170,000. He just added to his stack after winning a four-bet pot against Francesco Pillitteri.
The hand started with Fouad Ci raising from middle position. Smail just called from the hijack, which prompted Pilliterri to raise to 3,500 from the cutoff. Ci called before Smail back-raised to 15,500. Pilliterri quickly called ahead of Ci getting out of the way.
The Q♥J♥2♦ flop checked through to the Q♣ turn, where Smail continued for 9,000. Pilliterri, who had around 55,000, raised to 21,500. Smail jammed as the big stack and Pilliterri conceded the pot instantly.
