Zinno Slow Playing Pollak

Level 12 : 3,500/7,000, 7,000 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

Anthony Zinno opened to 17,000 on the button and Benjamin Pollak tanked for a minute before three-betting to 57,000 out of the big blind. Zinno just called and the flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Both players checked to the {q-Hearts} on the turn and Pollak led out for 38,000. Zinno once again just called and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board. Pollak shoved all in and Zinno called off his last 146,500 chips. Zinno tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and Pollak sent his cards to the muck before they were revealed.

Nice Life for Riess

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Justin Young opened to 17,000 from the hijack and Anthony Zinno three-bet to 65,000 on the button. Rainer Kempe counted out his chips before shipping all in for 166,000 out of the small blind. Ryan Riess was in the big blind and asked for a count before moving all in over the top for about 220,000. Both Young and Zinno folded after messing around with each other and the remaining two hands were tabled.

Ryan Riess: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Rainer Kempe: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Kempe was drawing to just three aces left in the deck. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Riess took a strangle-hold on the hand with a set of queens. The {7-Spades} landed on the turn and Kempe was left drawing dead to the {6-Diamonds} on the river.

"Nice life," Sam Soverel said to Riess after the hand.

Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

Benjamin Pollak raised to 17,000 on the button and Jake Schindler pushed all in for 218,000 in the small blind. Boutros Naim folded his big blind and Pollak counted out his 147,000 chips before making the call for his tournament life.

Jake Schindler; {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Benjamin Pollak: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Pollak was slightly ahead with his ace-high but Schindler held two live cards. One of those hit on the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, pairing his nine to take the lead. The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river landed the {7-Diamonds}, securing the win for Schindler and Pollak headed for the exit.

Park Flies Over One Million

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Andy Park just recently busted Brent Hanks with ace-queen after hitting a queen on the flop and another queen on the turn. He continues to push around his big stack as David Peters opened to 18,000 from the cutoff and Park just ripped all in for well over a million chips. Everyone folded and he continued to add to his stack, which is by far and away, the largest in the room.

Peters Knocks Out Kenney

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

David Peters raised to 23,000 on the button and Bryn Kenney shoved all in for a little over 200,000. Peters made the call and was well in front with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Kenney held one overcard with {a-Spades}{2-Spades} and would need to catch an ace to stay alive.

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Peters held on with his pair of sevens to eliminate Kenney as the money bubble looms.
