Cristos Nearly Triples; Sends Roberts to the Rail

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Lauren Roberts opened from the hijack with a raise to 10,000 and Jordan Cristos was on the button. He three-bet moved all in for 158,000. Daniel Weinand was in the small blind and he called before Roberts called as well putting herself at risk with the shortest stack.

Jordan Cristos: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Lauren Roberts: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Daniel Weinand: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The flop was good for Roberts when it came down {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} but the {A-Spades} changed things quickly, giving Weinand the lead, leaving his opponents looking for sets. The river was the {8-Hearts} and that put Cristos in the lead now with a set of eights. With that, stacks were counted and Cristos had Roberts covered, so with that he earned a near triple up. Weinand stayed health despite losing the pot and still sits with nearly 600,000 chips.
