Senoussi Big Chip Leader Despite Crilly Double

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Our attention was drawn to Ibrahim Senoussi who was sitting on close to 300,000 who was in a pot with David Crilly.

Crilly had opened and Senoussi had three-bet. Crilly then check-called a continuation bet on the {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and the turn was the {8-Spades}.

Crilly checked and Senoussi bet 22,000. Crilly check-raised all in for 51,500 and Senoussi tank-called.

David Crilly: {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Ibrahim Senoussi: {6-Spades}{7-Spades}

If Senoussi could hit his straight he'd send Crilly to the rail who had two pair and a flush draw. The river was the {5-Spades} giving Crilly a full house and he doubled up. Senoussi still sits with over 200,000 in chips.

800 Players for Day 1b

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Despite around half of the Day 1b Main Event field being on dinner, that hasn't stopped some players jumping into the tournament meaning the number of entrants for Day 1b has swelled to 800.

Coupled with the 360 players from Day 1a that brings the total numbers to 1,160, just 31 players short of matching last year's record number of 1,191.

Bourasseau checked and Deyra moved all in for 34,000. Bourasseau thought for a minute or so before calling with {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of threes. Deyra showed {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the nut flush and doubled to around 75,000.

Brenier Coolered Out of the Main Event

Level 12 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

Action was on a turn of {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades} with Carlos Perez having checked to Quentin Brenier. He bet 12,000 into a pot of 21,000 and Perez check-raised all in for around 45,000.

Brenier tanked and eventually called and was all in for around 30,000.

Quentin Brenier: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Carlos Perez: {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped pairs, with Brenier's best and he was in line for a double. However, the {5-Spades} improved his opponent to trips and he sent Brenier to the rail.

"I need to take a picture of this one," said Brenier before getting to his feet.
