Action was on the river on a board of 4♣7♦2♦5♠3♠ with 51,500 already in the pot. Remi Parpillon moved all in for 29,500 and Johanna Sakaloff was deep in the tank.
Sakaloff eventually opted to make the call and she showed A♦4♦. She'd missed her flush draw, but had the low end of the straight. It wasn't enough, however, as Parpillon flipped over A♥6♥ for the six-high straight to win the pot.
Sakaloff was left very short with less than 1,000 chips, while Parpillon scored a double up.

Timothée Rey opened to 1,700 from the button and was called by both players in the blinds.
All three of them checked the 10♥8♦Q♦ flop leading to the 4♠ turn where Alexandre de Zutter in the small blind grabbed some chips to bet. Everybody immediately folded.
On the next hand, Timothée Rey under the gun raised to 1,600. The 2024 Sismix champion Issam Benhaddou in the big blind three-bet to 4,500 and Rey called. He continued for 2,000 on the K♥9♥K♣ flop and Rey folded again.
Now in the big blind, Rey defended against Alexandre Pinto who opened to 2,000 on the button.
Pinto bet 2,000 on the K♣6♦10♣ flop. Rey check-called, then both players checked the J♠ turn. On the 5♣ river, Rey led out for 1,200. Pinto called with Q♣J♦ for a pair and scooped against Rey's A♦10♠. "I had better times", Rey joked.
