Hedef Hits River to Crack Benoit's Kings

Level 6 : Blinds 300/700, 700 ante

Action was on the turn on a board of 4298 and Maxime Benoit checked. Jean Francois Hedef made a bet of 6,500 and Benoit check-raised all in for 13,000, leaving Hedef with very little left to call given that the pot was already inflated.

Hedef called and showed A7 for ace-high. Benoit had KK for pocket kings and was way ahead.

The river, however, brought the A and gave Hedef a pair of aces. "Ahh, Oui!" shouted out Hedef. Benoit looked disappointed, but still wished his tablemates good luck as he took his leave.

Boos Wins Pot, Both Players Show

Level 6 : Blinds 300/700, 700 ante

Mario Boos open-raised from the cutoff and Guillaume Rager three-bet to 7,000 from the small blind. Boos then four-bet to 12,000 and Rager called.

The flop came JA2 and Rager checked. Boos continued for 10,000 and Rager screwed up his face and then mucked his hand face-up. He showed a pair of tens.

The high flop was actually a blessing, as Boos returned the favour, showing KK for a higher pair.

Vial Shoves River With Full House on Board

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action was on the river on a board of 74447 with 11,000 in the pot when Olaru Narcis Cristian led with an overbet of 15,000. Gerald Vial responded by moving all in for 64,000.

Cristian got the count but ultimately made the fold to give Vial the pot. Players speculated as to what Vial could have, with some suggesting he could have a seven. Vial kept quiet, though, so the table will never know.

Alveraz Doubles With Queens

Johann Greboval open-raised to 2,100 from under the gun, the button called, then Alberto Alvarez three-bet to 8,000 from the small blind. Greboval called and the button folded.

On the 655 flop, Alvarez continued his aggression with a bet of 20,000, leaving himself just 4,200 behind. Greboval raised all in and Alvarez called for his remaining chips.

Greboval had 88 for two pair with his eights and the fives on board, but Alvarez had the best of it with QQ for a higher two pair.

The turn came the J and river the 2. Alvarez held to win the pot, doubling up his stack.
