López Takes a Small Pot from Lafoz
Level 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
We arrived at the table with action already underway on a board of K♠Q♦6♠10♥. From the small blind, Fran López bet 3,700 into a pot of roughly 6,000, putting Joaquín Lafoz to a decision on the button.
Lafoz made the call and the dealer placed the 7♦ on the river. López fired again, this time for 6,500. After another moment of hesitation, Lafoz put in the chips, only to be shown the bad news.
López tabled K♦J♥ for top pair, prompting Lafoz to send his hand into the muck.
